Alex sat in the hospital ward waiting for answers. Ever since a prisoner from the man's side snuck into the woman m's ward and attacked her, she had been feeling sick. She thought that maybe it was because she felt disgusted with what happened. She was pulled out of her thoughts when the doctor put her hand on Alex's shoulder.
Doctor: Miss Smith....
Alex: Am I...
The doctor nodded and Alex broke down in tears. This should have never happened. She shouldn't be here, if only she hadn't made that mistake. Alex talked to the doctor for a while longer about what to do then left the hospital ward. Strangely, the girl that helped her get here was still standing outside the door.
Girl: So...are you okay?
Alex: I'm gonna be a mom.
Girl: Oh...congratulations?
Alex shook her head and started to cry.
Girl: Wait. When you were talking on the phone, and you said that someone attacked you, it was them Who's the father?
Alex: It makes the most sense.
The girl looked down and stared at her feet. She looked at her phone and and mentally cursed herself, she was late for her lunch with her mother.
Girl: Um....I have to go.
Alex: Yea, I freaked you out, sorry.
Girl: N-no, I'm just late for something. Um...bye..
Alex: Alex, Alex Smith.
Girl: Bye Alex, I'm Lily by the way.
Alex: Goodbye Lily.
Alex watched Lily walk away and out of sight, then walked back to her cell. She laid down in her bed and stared at the ceiling.
Alex: What are we gonna do?
