Alex: But the Husky and German Shepard both look so cute!
Oh you thought the baby was coming? Not for a few more chapters people. Lily and Alex decided they wanted to get a puppy. Alex couldn't choose between the Husky and the German Shepard and she was practically hyperventilating trying to decide.
Lily: You have to choose one.
Alex: Oh come on! The Husky keeps rolling over but the German Shepard keeps looking at me with those eyes like "Please pick me!"
Lily rolled her eyes and gave in.
Lily: Fine we'll get both.
Alex: Yay! But are you sure you can afford it?
Lily: I'm sure.
Alex made a goofy smile and happily told the worker she wanted both puppies. The worker took both puppies out of their cages and Lily went to pay for them.
Alex: You two are so adorable!
They really were adorable.

Alex hugged the two puppies the whole way home and Lily rolled her eyes every time her girlfriend talked to them. When they pulled into the driveway and got out the car, both puppies ran to the front door and waited for them to open it. They were so behaved that they waited instead of running away.
Lily opened the front door and instantly the two puppies ran inside and into the living room. Alex smiled and followed the puppies, setting up the toys the two had bought before getting them.
Alex: Thank you for my puppies, I am now content.
Lily rolled her eyes, (My phone literally just tried to autocorrect "eyes" to "weed" LOL) but she hugged her girlfriend and smiled, it was nice to see her happy.
