Ch.6
Austin's POV
This school day is another boring sucky one. Nothing changes in this place. I thought back to a year ago. I couldn't wait to be at school everyday because that meant I could see Jamie. She was an amazing, sexy, smart girl. She was everything to me, but I obviously wasn't to her. I had emptied my heart out to her in that note and the next day I found out she was gone. I hope she's happier wherever she is, probably isn't that hard for her, I thought bitterly. She left without even a goodbye. I was nothing when she left.
I didn't care about my grades, basketball, my friends, or even my parents. Whenever someone mentioned her in school I would jet off on my motorcycle. Whenever someone joked about her they would have a bloody nose. I tried to get information from her friends, but all they told me was that she moved. I talked to them, they seemed a little lost without her, but they were still content. I knew there was something they weren't telling me. After the eight months I wasted worrying about someone who obviously didn't care enough to say bye, I moved on.
"Hey Sweety." I heard a familiar chirpy voice say next to me. I closed my locker and found Kendra standing next to me.
"Hey babe." I said. She wrapped her arm around my waist and we walked off.
Jamie's POV
I was talking to Danny at his locker, hoping he didn't turn around. I didn't want him saying hi like he had when I was gone. At least not when I was standing right next to him. We were joking around as he managed to get his books from the mess of his locker. I turned around and sighed, he was gone. But that didn't mean I wouldn't run into him later.
I walked side by side with Danny. We were going to History now. I didn't bother looking at my class sheet to see what kind. I walked in and Danny and I sat in back, just in case, but it turned out Austin wasn't in this class. I sat through yet another class without any result except I wanted to be home with my baby. I was slumping my way through the day, the only cheer up was Sydney and Danny.
I had gym after lunch and then home. I was lucky to had it last, that way I could get home faster, and cleaner. I walked to my locker and grabbed the rest of my stuff along with Danny. We were late so Sydney, Danny, and I were the only one's in the hall. I was almost done putting stuff in my bag when I saw Austin walking towards his locker to my right from the cafeteria. Then I looked at the girl on his arm and nearly exploded with anger and tears right there.
I couldn't believe he was with Kendra. That bitch, and that bastard. I put my face behind my locker door and kept it there while I heard them talking at his locker.
"So, what are we doing at your locker? Huh?" She said, I could hear the movement of fabric and didn't look to see what she was touching.
"Ya babe?" He asked, it sounded like he wasn't even listening to her. I was gritting my teeth. Babe?! Sydney was at Danny's locker and didn't come over. Thank god, cause I didn't want his attention over here. Not like he's already too busy too notice anyway.
" I thought we were going back to lunch." She whined. I rolled my eyes. I listened to the sound of their shoes as they walked away.
"You guys are so dead." I said to Sydney and Danny as we walked to the cafeteria.
