Chapter  20: Truth or a Filthy Lie?

Riven's P.O.V

It was 5:03 A.M, but, I still couldn't fall asleep. All that was on my mind was what Yosun said about "Akise The Held Slave." I never thought about Akise's name. All I know that it is Akise and I'm pretty sure he can't be the one who put the spell on Yasuo.. and Rin. It was my father. Right? I groaned. I just don't know anymore. It could be him or my father. Well, there's really only one way to find out. But wait, it's 5:03 A.M. and I'm not even sure if Akira would believe me. They're pretty good friends right? How did Rin meet this Akise guy, anyway? Well, she might've just found the solution to everything. Taking the other soul out of Yasuo and bringing his memories back! Then it hit me. W-Wait..If it wasn't my father who cast the spell on Yasuo or Rin...doesn't that mean there's another soul inside of Rin too? Or did Akise just cast Trance Magic on Rin and leave? But, why would Akise do that to Yasuo and not Rin? Does this mean Rin has a soul inside of her too?! Just where are these souls coming from?! Why is Akise do- no..I don't even have proof if it was Akise or not. Or even if he cast Trance Magic on Rin. I shouldn't get to conclusions. But, wait..Yosun really does know everything. He said he did a lot of research on it and tried to make Yasuo say something. He said that all he was saying is "The Held Slave." when Yasuo forced his soul out. So, I guess it really is Akise. Wait, no. There could be many other Akise in the world!

Ugh, i'm wasting my time.

Still Riven's P.O.V

"We should go to Akise and ask him." Aisaka said to me after we were discussing the thing Yosun told us.

"But, what if Akira doesn't believe us?" I asked.

"So what if Akira doesn't believe us. It's not about her, it's about Akise."

I sighed. "But, Aisaka, she wont let us in if she doesn't believe us. She'll slam the door right in our face. Or even fight us. Well, unless Akise opens the door. But she'll still come."

"Just, Riven, let's go. It doesn't matter what she'll do, we will ask Akise no matter what."

I started to bite my nails. I always do when i'm nervous. "F-Fine. I'm bringing my broken blade, though."

Aisaka smiled. "Okie."

Still Riven's P.O.V

We used the tracking spell to find where Akira and Akise are. Apparently, they're at the same home they were at when I met them.

"Well, ring the doorbell~" Aisaka said.

"Wh-Why can't we just break in?" I said quickly with a stutter.

"There's no point, Riven. Breaking in would just cause them to not trust us even more." She flicked my forehead.

I held it and let out an 'ow'

"Fine." I said and rang the doorbell.

It soon opened by Akise. 

"Oh, hey. What do you need?" He said looking at me and then looking at Aisaka.

"Umm.." I said and elbowed Aisaka.

"We..came here to ask you something." Aisaka said nervously.

He leaned against the door. "And that is?"

I glared at him. "Are you Akise The Held Slave?"

His eyes widened a bit  but then went back to normal again.
