I was tired. No, tired was an understatement, I was exhausted, physically and emotionally. I tossed and turned all night, waking up almost every hour. I had a theory that I was secretly worried about something and that it was so secret that I didn't even know what it was. Not only that but I began to overthink about what I could be worried about and then became even more worried about some imaginary problem. On top of the worry I was ill. A cold. You know when you get a cold and then you get all achy and it just feels like God is not on your side as you feel your head pounding and your whole body ache despite the fact you haven't exercised in a while (and by a while I mean ever). I regretted not sleeping properly for a while because I feel like it kind of led me to being ill. My body was too tired to fight of this stupid virus. I could be completely wrong but I think my idea was accurate enough. If it wasn't who cares. I was ill and it was crap.

Once I had gotten out of bed, I dragged myself to the shower, groaning as the sunlight met my tired eyes. I quickly hopped in, letting the warm water cover my body and bring some sort of relief to the aching. I didn't realise how long I was in their until I heard Bella.

"Sky!" Bella yelled. She pounded on the door. "Hurry up."

"Get lost and let me shower," I yelled back. I heard her groan through the door as I turned the water off and grabbed my towel.

Upon arriving at school I walked slowly into school, going to meet Angela at her locker. I stood there waiting, leaning my head against the cool surface. It felt good. I closed my eyes, waiting.

"You okay?" I heard a masculine voice ask. I hummed in response, not opening my eyes. He chuckled.

"I don't appreciate you laughing at me," I muttered. The pounding in my head was slowly subsiding as the painkillers I had taken earlier with my small breakfast started to (finally) kick in.

"Not enough sleep?"

"Like five hours and me not breathing through my nose. Do you know how annoying that is?" I asked. "Wait you don't."

Jasper laughed as his hand grasped mine, lightly.

"Do me a favour and put your hand against my forehead because it feels really hot and you're really cold," I spoke, lifting my hand that he held and placed it against my forehead.

"You're strange sometimes," he chuckled.

"Change that sometimes to all the time and it's accurate," I joked.  "I embrace that shit."

"I'm going to leave you to it because Angela is coming this way," he told me. "I'll see you later."

"See you later."

Soon enough Angela was in front of me, smiling. I smiled back.

"Hey, how's the cold?" She greeted.

"Bad, everything aches and my head still hurts but it's getting better because I am all drugged up," I explained.

"Good, now let's go to class." She linked arms with me and walked me to our class.

After arriving home I dumped my bag in my room and began to do the homework I was set that day. I grabbed my laptop and began my English essay about Othello.

Two thousand words later there was a knock at my window. I muttered an 'it's open' and soon enough Jasper was standing by the open window.

"Hey," I greeted, not taking my eyes off of the screen as I typed, trying to finish the essay as quickly as possible so that I could proofread it and edit it. "What up?"

"Nothing really," he replied, moving towards my bed and sitting opposite me. "What are you doing?"

"My English essay on Othello," I told him, my voice monotonous. "If you want me to stop just ask." This time I looked at him.

"No, I know how important it is for you to do well and I know you like to get homework done the same day it's given to you." His hand rested on my knee as he spoke.

"That's sweet," I whispered, smiling at him before going back to my work. "I'm halfway through anyway."

"Don't rush it," he instructed, his voice soft.

Eventually, I finished the first draft and saved it, putting my laptop to the side of me, on my desk. I patted the space next to me. He slid next to me, allowing me to lean my head against his chest and cuddle him.

"If my Dad comes in now he's gonna flip but I can't be bothered to move," I informed. He chuckled.

"Your voice sounds cute when you're ill," he mumbled, running his hand up and down my arm.

"It sounds weird and I hate it," I retorted, rolling my eyes. "I just can't wait for it to go away so that I can breathe out of both nostrils again."

Again he laughed. This time I chuckled along with him.

A/N sorry this is a really crappy filler chapter but I thought I should update for you guys while I have time and I also wanted a break from revision because it was giving me a headache.
