Third Person POV

Skylar stood with her family, the rest of the covens all spread out. She watched as the Volturi emerged from the trees. She had to admit, it was slightly intimidating and very cult-like as they marched in sync towards them.

"Aro's looking for Alice," Edward informed.

The wolves began to emerge from the trees, walking towards the covens. Jacob came next to Bella, ready to take Renesmee when he needed to.

Carlisle walked forward, "Aro, let us discuss things as we used to, in a civilized manner."

"Fair words, Carlisle. But a little out of place given the battalion you've assembled against us," Aro responded.

"Little bit hypocritical when you look at what he's assembled," Sky muttered before remembering they all had vampire hearing. "I'm gonna shut up."

"I can promise you, that was never my intent. No laws have been broken," he assured.

"We see the child, do not treat us as fools," Caius seethed.

Carlisle glanced around the Volturi, raising his voice, "She is not an immortal. These witnesses can attest to that. You can look. See the flush of human blood in her cheeks."

His voice lowered in volume as he spoke.

"Artifice," Caius yelled.

"I will collect every facet of the truth, but from someone more central to the story. Edward, as the child clings to your new-born mate, I assume you are involved," Aro told.

Edward nodded to Bella before he walked forwards and towards the Volturi. Renesmee moved closer to Jacob. Bella attempted to use her shield to protect Edward.

Aro took Edward's hand, seeing all of his memories.

"I'd like to meet her," Aro requested.

Edward turned back to his family. Bella, Renesmee, Jacob, Sky and then Emmett joined, all of them walking towards Aro.

"Ah, young Bella and young Skylar. Immortality becomes you both," he spoke.

Skylar couldn't help the grimace that crossed her face when he let out a shrieking laugh as he heard Renesmee's heart. It was truly one of the worst sounds she had heard. He pointed to the child.

"I hear her strange heart."

He held out his hand.

Renesmee approached him, "Hello, Aro."

Instead of taking his hand, she placed a hand on his cheek, using her powers to show him her memories instead.

"Magnifico." He stood back up. He then turned to his army.
