Die Young

News of the battles outcome had reached Albus Dumbledores ears. His old friend, Chiron, had alerted him. Chiron even came with him to Grimmuald Place- in his wheelchair form, of course.

"Albus, who is this?" Kingsley Shacklebolt, who had stayed for dinner (you can't say no to Molly Weasley's delicious cooking) asked.

"This is Chiron." He smiled.

Sirius Black hurriedly asked then, "Is Adele okay? Is she hurt?"

Chrion seemed to want to avoid the question. He twiddled with his fingers, not sure how to answer the worried father.

"Well... She is no longer hurt. And she is okay now, in a safe place."

George was the first to figure out what he had meant.

"NO!" He exclaimed, tears streaming down his face. "SHE CANT BE... she can't be dead..."

Sirius was in plain shock, unable to register anything. He was going to cry- his grey eyes were watering with tears.

"I'm sorry, my boy, but-"

"No! Your not sorry! She died, didn't she!?"

"Yes..."

"How come the people that I care for always seem to die?" Harry asked, calmly.

"Fate is a cruel thing. She died with a heroe's- no, a legend's- life. She will no longer be troubled."

"You don't realise that I need her. She keeps me strong. I love her." George said.

Tears began to ran down Chirons cheeks. "I know, dear boy... She spoke most highly of you- all of you."

"First Reg, then James and Lily, and now my daughter. Why?" Sirius said, his voice croaking.

"That is where your wrong. I was given a choice, and I chose this... This world." A familiar voice said calmly.

ADELE'S POINT OF VIEW:

I remember this place. It was where I was few months ago. In limbo.

"Mom..." I said, as a familiar looking women came up to me.

"Adele. You have another choice."

"To... Go back?"

"Yes, to go back. But there will be something taken from you if you are going back. It won't be your family or George or your friends."

"Then what will it be?" I asked, wanting to go back.

"You will lose your powers of being a metamorphagus."

"I'm alright with that." I said.

"I love you, dear."

I woke up on a couch. In Grimmuald Place...

I went to the kitchen, and responded to what my Dad said with:

"That is where your wrong. I was given a choice, and I chose this... This world."

George automatically turned to me.

He ran right up to me. I burried my head into his chest, and he kissed the top of my head.

My Dad tapped his shoulder- oh, those two are going to have a talk later.... George let go, and my Dad gave me a huge bear hug.

"Hey, I'm not one to Die Young, Dad."
