ADELE BLACK: THE SEQUEL

THE BREAKING OF THE DA PART TWO

I don't enjoy replaying the events of that night in my head. It brings me the worst memories ever.

We had gone by threstle, which were large birds with leather-like wings on their bodies. They were black in color; I could see them. Out of us all, only Luna, Neville, Harry and I could see them. Hermione, Ron and Ginny couldn't; they haven't seen anybody die. They're quite lucky, I suppose.

Now at the Ministry of Magic, we were walking down the halls. Rows upon rows of shelves with misty, foggy round balls were there. They were prophecies.

I turned by head and saw one that said Harry's name.

"Harry," I said, "look. It's there."

He reached out his hand and grabbed it.

That was when the Death Eaters came out. I'm not exactly sure what happened, because I was helping Ginny with her ankle and firing spells next to Harry at the same time.

The large, dark oak doors suddenly opened up with a rather loud creaking noise. The order had come.

The first person who I saw was my father.

Without thinking about it, I ran up to him and squeezed him tight.

"I love you daddy," I mumbled. He kissed me on the head.

"I love you too sweetheart."

The order and I whipped out our wands.

"You've both done beautifully," dad said to Harry and I, "But it's my turn now."

Time was frozen.

My dear second cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange, came and screamed and taunted my father.

"AVADA KEDAVA!" Bellatrix screamed, a maniac-like look on her face.

My father had a small smile on his face from giving me one last hug.

He lunged backwards into a veil, lifeless.

"NO!" I screamed, tears dripping down my face. I was a mess.

I raised my wand and pointed it at Bellatrix.

"You killed him! You killed my father!" I screamed. I ran after her as she skipped down into the commons of the Ministry.

Harry and I chased her.

"Crucio!" Harry screamed at her.

"Come on Potter! You really have to mean it!"

I glanced at my god brother. He had tears down his face as well.

"CRUCIO!" I exclaimed, wanting the murderer to scream in pain. She deserved it.

She fell to the ground, screaming in agony. Her screams made me cry more. My father....

Lord Voldemort had appeared in front of me.

"You did this to my dear Bellatrix?" He snarled.

I nodded.

His red eyes were flaring with anger. "You shall go the same way that your father did.... Avada Kedava!"

I rolled out of the way just in time. Voldemort got distracted by the sight of Harry.

I don't remember hearing anything, but I remember seeing the events. They were a blur, but all I knew was that Dumbledore had come and saved the day and held off Lord Voldemort for now.

The Ministry of Magic workers had come and seen him for themselves. When the Morning Prophet arrived to people, everybody would know about his return.

They would know of Sirius Black's death, and of his daughter.

They'd know of me, who only had a mother now. Or for them, no parents now. I have nowhere to stay.

I suppose that I could stay at Grimmuald Place, but I don't want to be alone. It's likely that Harry will go back to the Dursely's- again.

I'll ignore my mother, and her words of not being able to go to America.

She never said I couldn't go to camp.

Even though it's in America, it's technically not on the map. Or Google Earth, so thus it's not in America.

Hey, Athena always has a plan.

That's where I'd go. I'll go back to camp.

There is only one person left here for me now. George.

Everybody I ever loved and cared about leaves.

There's nothing left here for me now. I'll come back though.

I just need.... A break.

Appearing on the borders of Camp Halfblood in my ripped up clothes made me look like everybody else.

There was one or two dead bodies on the ground from what I could see, and they took the appearance of people I didn't know. Must have been new campers.

Taking a deep breath, I stepped inside of the camp. I was suddenly attacked by a girl with blonde hair.

(A/N: I know that this is out of time order, but it's important to the story line, okay?)

Her hair was in a pony she had the same grey eyes as me.

"Adele!" Annabeth exclaimed as she hugged me tight.

I couldn't help but fall to the ground and let more tears fall. She knelt down and hugged me.

"What happened, Adele?" Annabeth calmly soothed, Percy suddenly beside her.

"He's dead, Annie, he's dead."

"Who is dead, Adele?" Annabeth once again asked me calmly.

"My father. My dad is dead."
