It was just that one day in the summer when the sky began sprinkling with clear drops of rain. The day that changed these two girl's lives drastically, but it wasn't a bad change, no, it was a day that marked their lives for the better.
Story Start...
Eunha checked her phone for any missed calls, but instead found a voicemail.
She called her voice mail and listened to the message...
"Hello, this is the manager from 'Breakfast and Dinner at its finest' I would like to inform you that you have been accepted to work here. Your shift starts tomorrow at 7 am and ends at 9 pm. See you here!" And it ended.
Eunha began jumping around with excitement and did a happy dance.
"Guess who got a job? I did!" She shouted and lowered her voice after receiving a few weird stares, but giggled at their faces.
She walked and walked but frowned, remembering that she had no place to stay. She saw a park nearby and ran to find an empty bench.
I guess this is where i'm staying tonight...
She sat on the green colored bench and slowly laid down. She looked up at the full moon and smiled.
She slowly closed her eyes and began thinking. It was a habit of hers'. She always had to contemplate her life before actually finding a comfortable spot and actually sleeping.
They were just random thoughts, but it was like her happy place. Where she could think about anything.
Is water actually moist, or is it just a substance that feels moist to other people? Like, are the molecules and particles moist? Is that what makes water, water?
But what about fire? What is it? A gas? But then again they use gas to make fire, and fire lets out a gas. So then what is fire really?
Why am I even thinking about this when i'm laying on a bench with nowhere to go. Like what the hell Eunha. Your life's a mess and you're over here thinking about what fire is and if water is moist.
"Hey! Get off my bench!" An old lady shouted and she immediately jumped up.
"This ain't your bench you old hag!" She shouted back. The lady charged at her and Eunha just stood there with a smirk.
"Oops," Eunha said as the lady crashed into the bench. Eunha laughed and left before the lady got up. She would be in real trouble then.
She ran off and found a tree to sit by.
She decided to spend the night here since there weren't any benches unoccupied.
She closed her eyes and soon drifted off to sleep with the tall tree covering the gleaming moonlight that illuminated the dark blue night sky.
*Next day*
Yerin got into her work clothes and headed over to the restaurant. She opened up and went to leave her things in her small office.
"SinB! Can you start making the batter for pancakes?"
"Sure Unnie." She said and started getting the ingredients ready. Meanwhile, Yerin went over to the front door and saw 2 boys standing on the outside.
She went over to them and opened the door.
"New employees?" She asked and they nodded.
"I'll give you your uniforms in a bit, but for now we need to get set up. Blonde, go to the kitchen and help the girl back there. You, get something and start cleaning the tables." They nodded and hurriedly went to do what they were told. A knock was heard and Yerin turned around to see Eunha. She furrowed her eyebrows and went over to the door.
"What're you doing here?" She asked with a puzzled expression.
"I got a call saying I was accepted to work here." She replied.
"I thought I called that one girl, Jung Eunbi."
"I am Jung Eunbi, Eunha is just my nickname." She giggled and walked in.
"So then that means-"
"Eunha where did you sleep?" She asked.
"At a friend's house." She stated nervously, but Yerin didn't hear the anxiousness behind her words.
"Oh. Well you can mop, right?" Eunha nodded.
"There's one by the door. you can start by mopping the floor for now." Yerin ordered and the younger girl immediately went to grab the mop.
"Hey blonde, need some help?" Yerin asked the blonde boy who made the act of making the batter for pancakes look like the hardest thing in the world.
He nodded and smiled. Yerin rolled up her sleeves and began showing the boy what ingredients to use to make the batter since the boy had no clue of what to use.
Eunha had soon finished mopping the floor along with Jungkook who had finished wiping the tables.
"Do you guys need any help?" Eunha asked walking into the kitchen.
"No, we're right about done here," Yerin said shaking her head.
"So then how about we get to know each other a bit? We have like 42, 43 minutes before open time?" SinB questioned looking at then clock.
"I guess we could, but once its opening time we have to get to work." Yerin said as she sat on one of the booths.
"Sit down guys," Yerin said. They nodded and sat down.
"Names because I forgot them." Yerin said and the others laughed.
"Taehyung." The blonde boy said.
"Jungkook." The raven-haired kid said.
" Alright. Jungkook and Taehyung... My name's Eunha." The younger girl introduced.
"I'm your manager, Yerin. The one over there is SinB." Yerin said pointing at Sinb.
"So what hobbies do you guys have?" Sinb asked.
"I draw," Jungkook said.
"Can we see a picture of one of your drawing Jungkook?" Eunha asked and the boy nodded.
He showed them a picture.

"Wow. It's really beautiful." Taehyung said as he stared at the picture.
"T-thank y-you." He stuttered out as a pink color spread on his cheeks.
"What about you Sinb?" Eunha asked.
"I like learning random dances as a hobby," SHe said and Eunha nodded.
"And you?" Sinb asked.
"I like listening to music." She responded.
"Same," Yerin said.
"It's right about the time we open up," Taehyung said and the rest nodded. The newbies got up and got their uniforms, changing into them right after. They all began working, attending their costumers one by one. Soon, the work day came to an end and the 5 employees parted ways.
All heading to their homes, well...except for one.
