Author's P.O.V
It had been a week or so since the girls had shared their first kiss with each other and the tension between them was over the roofs. It was Wednesday and the two were doing what they did any other Wednesday, work at the restaurant.
"Umm Y-yerin, umm here's the order." Eunha said nervously and placed the rectangular paper on the counter, immediately zooming out the room. Yerin sighed.
She wanted all of this awkwardness between them to end. She regretted kissing the younger girl that Sunday, although she couldn't say she didn't like it. Their friendship was literally filled with awkward tension. She just wanted things to back to the way they used to be about a month ago.
She went back to the stove and took the patties out, placing them on the lettuce leaves and placing a bun over every one.
"Is that order ready?" Sinb asked and Yerin nodded, sighing for the millionth time that day.
"Something on your mind?" Sinb asked and yerin nodded.
"We'll talk after we close up, okay?" Yerin nodded and began on the next order of food.
Meanwhile Eunha had just walked back into the kitchen, placing the orders on the counter once again and stood there watching Yerin as she cooked the next pair of fries.
Eunha had also missed their old friendship, but if it wasn't her creating awkwardness it was Yerin. In all honesty she really enjoyed the kiss they shared. She had thought of the idea of actually confessing to the older girl, but every time she had the chance she either scurried away or couldn't get words out of anxiousness.
Eunha grabbed the trays out of Yerin's hands and immediately exited the kitchen to go deliver the customers orders.
The rest of the night went on like this. It was already closing time and Jungkook closed the restaurant, ending the work day. Eunha walked home with Jungkook while the other two girls went to Sinb's shared apartment.
"Noona." Jungkook called.
"Huh?" She asked, turning to the younger boy.
"You zoned out again. You okay?"
"I'm fine Jungkook-ah."
"No your not. I can see right through your lies." He stated and Eunha sighed.
"What's wrong Noona?"
"How many times have I said not to call me noona?" Eunha asked.
"Too many times to count, noona." Jungkook said and the girl rolled her eyes.
"It's just-*sigh*"
"It's just what?"he asked.
"Promise you won't tell anyone?" She asked and Jungkook nodded eagerly.
"Yerin kissed me about a week ago and-"
"She kissed you!?"
"Be quiet Kookie!" Eunha scolded and the boy nodded, signanling for the girl to go on.
"So she kissed me and i don't know it's like every time i'm around her I can't function correctly. And it's all just awkward and i don't know what to do! I just want things to be like they used to be."
"So you like her?"
"What!? No? Maybe? I don't know! I just- How do you know when you like someone?"
"Describe her."
"She's sweet and kind and so playful. And she's so good at cuddling! Oh and she has the sweetest smile and she's so hyperactive. And she's so pretty like have you seen her? And her lips oh my- her lips are so soft!"
"How are you confused? It's so obvious that you like her Eunha." Jungkook said.
"It is?"
"YES!"
"So then i like her. I like Yerin unnie. I like...Yerin
... Unnie." Eunha said and stared off.
"So now you confess." Jungkook said and her eyes went wide.
"No no no. What if she doesn't like me back?" Eunha asked and jungkook shook his head.
"She kissed you for god sakes! How is she not going to like you back?" Jungkook asked.
"Well maybe she just thought she liked me but when she kissed me she-"
"Noona!"
"She likes you, okay?"
"How do you know? I mean you've been liking taetae for months and have you confessed? I don't think so."
"That's different."
"No it's not."
"Ugh fine it isn't but-"
"No but's."
"I have a deal." Jungkook said.
"What."
"If you confess to Yerin noona then i'll confess to Taehyung-hyung." Jungkook said and Eunha thought for a bit.
"Your being legit with me?" She asked and Jungkook nodded.
"Okay. But you have to give me time."
"I'll give you up until Sunday." Jungkook said and Eunha widened her eyes.
"SUNDAY!? WHAT? NO!"
"Alright then no deal."
"What? Ugh Jungkook!"
"Fine!" Eunha wibed and Jungkook smiled.
"Well i guess this is your stop, noona." Jungkook said and Eunha groaned in annoyance and walked inside the red house.
Meanwhile...
"Sowon unnie help!" Yerin said.
"Well how am I supposed to help you when you don't want to confess and you're too scared to talk it out with her?"
"fine."
"fine what?"
"I'll talk to her."
"See, was it that hard?"
"Yes, it was." Sowon rolled her eyes.
"So are you staying for dinner or?"
"No. I'm heading home, it's pretty late." Sowon nodded.
"Bye unnie!" Yerin shouted and exited the apartment. She headed over to the elevator and Rode down, thinking about the right time to talk to the younger girl.
A/n: I know it's short, but it's all I've got for now. Oh and one thing i'm changing. I will stick to updating, but I'll do it throughout the week. I'll update 3-4 times a week like always, just not every three days like before. It'll be 3-4 times just whenever I have time throughout the week because I feel bad when I don't update for you guys and it's just stressing with school and all. Hope you guys liked the chapter!
