Chapter 14

No One's P.O.V

"Guys! Guys!" Umji shouted.

"What,"Eunha said drowsily.

"Get up! You have work, remember?"

"Ugh."

*thud*

"Get up sleepy head." Umji giggled. She put her hand out for Eunha to grab and smiled down at her.

Eunha blew her hair out of her face and grabbed Umji's hand. Once she was up, she dusted herself off and put on her bunny slippers.

"Do we have work today?"Yerin asked with a yawn.

"Who said you were working!? You still have one more week of rest to go!"Eunha said and Yerin rolled her eyes.

"I'm fine, I think I can run a restaurant."

"You think?"Eunha asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You know what Eunha? I don't need you bossing me around and telling me what I can and can't do. I said I'm running the restaurant and that's final."

"Fine," Eunha said in an annoyed tone.

"Fine." Yerin retorted.

Eunha rolled her eyes and grabbed her apron, walking out the door harshly.

"I'm running the restaurant and that's final." She mimicked.

Yerin trailed behind her.

"Eunha wait up! Eunha!"Yerin huffed. She ran toward her and nearly fell over a crack on the floor.

Eunha looked back and raised an eyebrow.

"What!" She exclaimed firmly.

"Look, I know you mean well, but understand me! I've been laying in a stupid hospital bed for almost a total month-"

"And you need to understand that you've been sitting on that...bed for almost a month because you were hit by a car! The doctor told me to make you rest for this last week, but no! Little miss Yerin-ssi needs to help out with her restaurant instead of taking care of herself and listening to what her friend has to say!"Eunha shouted with tears brimming in her eyes.

"Are you-"

"No!"

Yerin looked down in shame. What Eunha said was right, and she knew it herself. She sighed.

"Okay, you know what. Let's make a deal. I'll sit down and supervise while you, Sinb, Taehyung and Jungkook work." Eunha looked up.

"And that means no walking around too much?" Eunha asked and looked at her with big round eyes.

Yerin sighed and said," Fine, no walking around too much." Eunha smiled.

"Yay!" The younger girl went and hugged the other from behind. Yerin blushed.

"Oooh, You blushing?" Eunha asked teasingly.

Yerin shook her head and dug her hands into her face.

Eunha laughed and began skipping along the sidewalk.

Yerin looked up and shook her head.

"Aish, if only she didn't have this effect on me." Yerin shook her head again and began walking again.

Eunha entered the restaurant with Yerin trailing behind.

Yerin sat down at a table by the counter while Eunha headed toward the kitchen.

Yerin inhaled the sweet scent of pancakes that was coming from the kitchen. She smiled. It just felt so good returning to the place she loved.

Meanwhile, Eunha prepared another set of pancakes while Taehyung made more batter.
