Am I dead?” Nora asked to herself “Is this how dead people feel?” She felt numb, no sensation or feeling at all. She tried to open her eyes but her eyelids felt heavy but when she took a deep breath Nora felt her chest rise and fall.

“Look she’s breathing” An unknown voice said “We better take her to the house” Said a different voice. Nora felt as two pair of strong arms took  her by her back but the stinging pain on her right ankle made her release a cry of pain. As if she was brought back to life, all her senses woke up.

Nora opened her eyes in a flash to see who had cause such pain and the first thing she saw was a man carrying her lifeless body. But when she tried to speak her throat felt like sand paper and instead of her voice coming out was a series of coughs. Now she felt weak and cold. She was trembling like a leaf in a cold windy afternoon but most of all she was soaked in water.

“How did I even got all soaked?”

Looking back at the man who carried her it reminded her of Damian but at the very thought of him every event of last night came crashing down to her in a less than a second. Her heart started pounding against her rib cage, her vision became blurry because of the tears and her breathing became heavier. Everything around Nora started to spin and the voices became more and more distant before she blacked out again.

Everything was dark around Nora. She felt as if she was in a completely lightless room with no window or door. She tried to search for one but she couldn’t find any of them. When she turned back Nora saw the exit of what it looked to be a cave.

“A cave? Have I been inside a cave all this time?”

She felt lost and clueless about the situation. Without having any other option she went for the exit. Trough the whole way to the exit, which was farther than she thought it was, she could see a forest and could hear a far away singing of a bird. When she finally got out her breath was taken away by the beauty that the forest possessed. It wasn’t like any other she had seen. In between her trance she spotted the bird which sang so lovely tune. It was rather small but more like delicate. Its striking blue color was just beautiful with its yellow colored beak. The blue bird flapped his little wings and flied to a branch a little bit farther. Nora followed the bird close behind.

Its beautiful chirping was so cheerful it made her happy. She singed along to the tune while following the bird. She didn’t know where she was going but the bird looked like it wanted to follow him. Nora lost sight of the bird.
