Tristan was amazed to see Nora the next day on her feet again. After yesterday’s situation he never thought that she would be up but instead in bed. It’s as if it never happened

“Well, look who’s awake. Good morning! How are you feeling?” He said in a quite surprised voice

“Good morning…I’m good” The girl answered

Tristan took a moment to observe the fine woman standing a couple of steps away from him. Silky fiery long hair, tall with a slender body. She possessed such grace just standing there. Her eyes we’re still a bit puffy from last night. No one could even tell that she was crying. Nora caught him staring at her and felt uncomfortable under his gaze. She tried to walk away without him noticing her sprained ankle without limping and falling but she failed

Stupid ankle. Why did you have to sprain yourself? How did you even got sprained?” He quickly moved and before her face came in contact with the wooden floor Tristan took her by her waist. Quickly Nora composed herself and moved away from him.

“Thank you…ehh for that” An awkward silence fell between them and she didn’t like the situation at all

“Nora, you’re up!” Wendy’s little body ran out from the hall and came crashing against Nora’s body

“Good Morning to you! ”She told Wendy while hugging her back

“After I came back from playing in the field I wanted to see you but Tristan wouldn’t let me in because you fell asleep again!”

“I was feeling really tired but I had enough sleep” Nora’s stomach made a really inhuman like sound

“Looks like someone’s hungry” Tristan said from the back while Wendy let out a giggle

I think this staying will be longer than expected”

The days passed and with each one she felt better and better not to mention they all went so fast. Having the children around wasn’t easy but not hard at the same time. Nora could finally meet Tristan’s father. He was a really nice person and now she could tell were Tristan got his good looks and cheeky smile. Her ankle was almost healed now at the point where she could walk properly.

One day she woke up earlier than everyone and went for a walk outside. The morning was quite chilly and there was still some fog around. She was staying in the outskirts of the kingdom, in a beautiful wide field where the forest line wasn’t that far. The sun peeked through the high snow covered mountains from far away. It was a breath taking sight. Nora walked around feeling the high grass that reached her waist and breathing the pure air of the morning

“This is life” She thought. For a moment she thought back to her old home. To think that it was all gone and there was no one left to go to. Nora had no place that she could call home. That made her deeply sad in the inside but not all hopes where vanished. She still needed to, somehow, get Damian back. She knew he was still alive, she felt it deeply in her soul. Damian was no weak man, Nora had no doubt of that and he would not give easily to the Queen not now, not ever.

Nora walked in to the forest while singing a lovely song. She had always known the song for the longest time but she never knew where it came from. It even was in a language foreign to her. Her mind wondered back to her dream. I t looked to be so real in so many ways. Was it even true? She could never tell but deep inside she felt as it was. For a moment she took off her leather glove, yes she still whore it at all times, and looked at the seal resting peacefully on her palm.
