“Where are we exactly going?” Tristan asked while walking besides Nora. They’ve left the house hours ago and now were walking down the forest. Nora had a plan in mind but she couldn’t tell Tristan the exact details of it or else her hand would burn and she didn’t like the sound of that.

“First we are heading to the village to find an old friend of mine. I know he will help us to get Wendy and my friend back” Nora answered without bothering to look besides at him.

“And who exactly is this friend of yours?”

“The prince” She answered as if it was nothing but Tristan thought of it as a big deal.

“The prince?”She nodded once more “Are you out of your mind woman? If you didn’t know, the prince is the Queen’s son. At the mention of breaking his mother’s law he will surely kill us, both” This time she did turned to look at him

“Relax. The boy won’t do us any harm. I know him too well for his own good” She smiled a little at the mention of it. In fact she remembered the good times when she lived close to the kingdom. The boy used to sneak out of the castle and come to where she lived and play together. He always said that the castle was a boring place to be, surrounded by nobles and the people of the royal court.

They kept silence for a while when Nora spoke once more.

“I wish we had brought a horse or something” and let a breath out. Her feet were starting to hurt but there was still a long way ahead. She did missed her bow with her many arrows but she thought on making one soon but while she was on her journey she had to settle with a couple of daggers. Tristan on the other hand brought his family sword with him. It was a beautiful one with intriguing designs on the handle with a few coloured stones. According to him it belonged to his great great grandfather who was a noble at the royal court.

They kept walking and the sun was starting to hide but Nora knew they weren’t far.

“We’re almost there. We’ll just settle in a guesthouse or an inn” Tristan nodded.

Weariness was starting to get the best of him. He wasn’t used to travelling at all. He was used to the peace of his home. After some time they reached the village’s stone walls and made it just in time before they closed the gates

“Here follow me” Nora said and he did as told.

He felt as if he was a dog, following orders but Nora knew better than him. She knew her way around here. He didn’t question her knowledge of ability though he wished to see the woman fight with a sword. When she came to his house giving him the news about Wendy’s kidnap he notice the big blood stain on her shoulder but was too focused on the news he didn’t ask. She did tell him about a fight with men “Did she killed them?” He asked to himself because if so... well, he wouldn’t know because he hasn’t known so many men skill on a woman and if she did knew how to fight what else she could do?

He followed her in to an inn which seemed to be less crowded than the others. There where men drinking all over the place. Laughter and screams filled the place. The waitresses, who showed too much for their decency, were being raped with the look many men gave them but they didn’t seem to care at all. For Tristan it was just nasty to see what women did to just pass a night with a man they barely knew “Are they THAT desperate?” he shoved the thought away when Nora spoke to the man on the bar
