Eli grabbed Eve by her throat slamming her against a wall merciless, the drywall giving in an inch leaving an imprint. "I warned you not to involve her, I warned you not to fucking touch her."
"This is the most action you've given me," Eve said with a feline grin, Eli's bruise worthy grip having no effect on her.
"Touch her again and I'll rip your fucking throat out," Eli threaten and Eve giggled.
"I've been hearing that a lot recently," she explained when she caught sight of Eli's puzzled expression.
"Don't touch her again."
"You're becoming violent, she's not good for you," Eve informed.
"And you think you are?" Eli scoffed, releasing her with disgust. "Touch her again and-"
"You'll rip my throat out," Eve interjected. "Original family the Hardings are."
"And I'll torture you, you'll die a slow and painful death. You'll die alone in the dark room where no one will hear your cries," Eli told her with an eerie calm coming over him. "Nothing will stand in my way to assure you die in the most pathetic way possible."
"She's not worth it, Eli," she told him. "Once the Clan hear of this fraternization it won't last."
"She's mine," Eli murmured. "No one will take that away."
"The spell is taking a toll on you, you're becoming delusional," Eve spoke softly, as if worried as she reached a hand out to cup his cheek, he pulled away, out of her reach. "She's just a human Eli, you can't ruin your chances of rising up in the Clan for her."
"I don't want any part in the Clan," Eli told her. "If you're trying to marry me because of my high position in the Clan you should give up, I don't plan to take that position. Ethan deserves it more than I do or ever will."
"You're losing your mind," Eve told him with a demeaning tone.
"No." Eli chuckled. "Losing my mind is something I would do with you by my side."
"This household is impossible," Eve shouted in frustration.
"Welcome to my life!"
Eve stormed out and Ethan came down the hallway eyeing Eli with something foreign.
"What?" Eli barked out at him.
"You don't look so good," Ethan told him, in monotone. "You should lie down."
"I don't need to lie down," Eli muttered, but as soon as Ethan had spoken the words his voice began to draw out slowly and his vision blurred. He stumbled to the side, resting a hand on the wall.
"Eli?" Ethan's voice sounded distant.
Eli let go of the wall taking a step forward, but he blacked out falling forward and Ethan grasped his arm, preventing him from falling onto his face. "I told you to pop her cherry, you feel weak for the first time since you were born."
Eli was burning up, his breathing unsteady as Ethan placed him on his bed, locking the door from the inside and giving the cook strict instructions that no one, but him and her were allowed inside. Her to feed him and Ethan to check up on him, no one else would be allowed to even look at Eli when he was this weak.
"If that human, Cairo Storm, comes by," Ethan began. "Let her see him."
"Yes, sir," the cook bowed her head.
Eli was in and out of consciousness, he felt like he was burning up and tossed his shirt and sweat pants off. He felt so weak, but he was supposed to go get Cai today. He picked up his phone and texted her. 'I won't be able to make it today, seems I have a fever.'
