Chapter 27-

The next morning he was walking her to her dorm, they stood outside prolonging the goodbyes.

"Thanks for taking me in for the night," she murmured, suddenly really nervous.

"It was literally my pleasure," he told her as his hand cupped her cheek softly leaning in slowly. "I just wish you'd let me keep you around."

Once again this heartwarming nostalgia washed over her and his lips were so close she could feel their warmth against hers. His warm breathing washing over her, she felt the same heat she'd felt last night. His lips were so close...

Suddenly the dorm door swung open and she jumped back, away from his lips and his touch. Gaby stood there in a short skirt that bared her thighs, she had a crop top, and her long red hair fell down her back. Cairo felt inferior in the sweats as she caught the look that Gaby was giving Eli.

"Oh my gosh, hi! Is this your friend, Cairo?" Gaby asked as she twirled a strand of hair between her fingers.

"Yeah, this is Eli Harding," Cai introduced with a bit of disappointment. Gaby always got the guys she set her eyes on, and she was giving Eli that look.

"Hi, Eli, I'm Gaby," she said with a giggle as she took hold of Cai's hand. "Can I borrow Cairo for a quick second?"

"Sure," Eli said with a smile. "Nice to meet you, Gaby."

Gaby giggled, her hand squeezed Cai's painfully as she dragged her into the dorm and closed the door.

"Oh my God, Cai, who is that and is he available?" Gaby asked.

"He's in my classes," Cai explained, not wanting to address if he was involved with anyone. They'd only spend one night together and it didn't count as them seeing each other.

"A soon to be doctor," Gaby marveled. "He looks like a player, he probably doesn't have a girlfriend, huh? How do you know him?"

"He actually let me crash at his flat last night since I couldn't get ahold of Skye or Ally," Cai said, she could hear the possessive tone in her own voice.

"Oh, did you guys-? Because if you did I'll back off," Gaby said with a look that said she'd just pursue him behind Cai's back.

"No, we didn't do anything," Cai lied, maybe Eli would turn Gaby down.

"Oh, good, since you know him do you mind asking him if he'd be interested in going out with me? If he says yes just give him my number, okay? Thanks, Cai!" She opened the door and whipped her hair brushing past Eli as she murmured goodbye to him.

Eli looked back at Cai with a confused look. "What was that about?"

"Umm...she was wondering if you'd go out with her?" Cai said a bit bitterly. She could feel the jealousy bubbling inside her, but he wasn't hers for her to be this upset so she suppressed the feeling and gave him a small smile.

Eli gave her an odd look before pushing her into the dorm room and closing the door behind them. Before she knew what was going on she was pressed between the wall and his body. "Is that what you want?"

"What?" She felt her mouth dry and her body heat began to rise, he moved so quickly she had a hard time grasping what was happening.

He looked irritated as he pressed a knee between her burning thighs. "Do you want me to go out with your friend?"

"If you want to...it's okay with me," Cairo mumbled, his face morphed into a cold glare now.

"You'd be okay with me touching her like I did you last night? Would you be okay with me kissing her like I kissed you?" He let his mouth press against her neck, tasting and teasing. "Do you want me to do this to her?"
