Cairo knew she had to fight, tomorrow would be the day they presented her to the bidders. Sold off to some sadistic monster than wanted a pet they could feed off. The night she was taken down a narrow hallway where it led to a room full of showers and she was ordered to clean up. The men didn't spare her a second glance, but they carried tasers and were large. She didn't stand a chance to make a run for it. The drugs they'd been slipping in the food worked, making her wobbly. Her legs wouldn't be able to run down the hallway they'd just walked through.

They gave her a new pair of sweats, taking the smelly ones she'd been wearing the last five days. One of the girls came into her room and brushed her hair before leaving. The soup came as soon as she left. Cai ate the bread and drank the water. Flushed the soup down the toilet so they'd think she ate it. This time she kept the spoon, placing it in a small tear in the mattress. She'd never believed in Gods of any sort, but she prayed they wouldn't notice.

She fell asleep and no one woke her up over the disappearance of metal utensils. When she woke up she was given her school uniform and told to get dressed. She pulled on the skirt and the button up shirt, not enjoying that it was slightly see through. They hadn't given her back her bra so the outline of her breasts was present.

"Are you ready?" Jacob walked through the door as she was tucking in the spoon between her skin and waistband. She jumped, thankfully he didn't notice a thing.

She didn't bother replying to him, he waved for her to follow and she did reluctantly. Because she had avoided the soup she felt more aware and less groggy. But she had to be smart about when she should make a run for it.

She followed behind him, keeping at least a three foot distance. There was a man following behind her, this wouldn't be the time to run.

"What kind of Master depends on what you portray yourself as," Jacob began. "I'm telling you so you don't think you're completely helpless in there. You seem like a nice girl...I'd hate for one of those old ugly abusive night bats to get ahold of you only to rape and beat you daily. The ones that keep a harem seem to be kinder."

"I'm not going with any of these assholes," she growled with narrow eyes.

"Hey, temper temper, I told you you're going to get yourself a bad Master like that," he warned.

"It's not like you care," she muttered. "You're just making money off me."

"It's true," he told her with a slight nod. "Well come on."

Another man opened a door, it was like walking into an arena. Up on the top of this circular room there were thick red drapes, they felt like they were in a pit of some sort. In the middle there were shackles which they placed on her wrists and legs.

"Sorry about that," Jacob told her. "These monsters like their dramatics, must be because they've been dead for so long, you know? What's left to do when you've done it all?"

He fixed his tie and waved for the drapes to be pulled apart, for a moment Cairo saw the men sitting on chairs through the glass, even some women. Just watching her, then the spotlights came of and she had to shield her eyes from the harsh lights. The room was wide and she'd caught sight of people sitting right next to each other, so if they were people all around the room there would be at least thirty bidders.

One of them could be an undercover cop, right? Was that a real thing? Did undercover cops take to these kind of cases? She squinted, trying to see these people, trying to tell the good from the bad. They all wore masks, Greek masks of Gods.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Jacob began, voice booming like some sort of salesman. "I have a special surprise for you tonight...this beautiful girl behind me is a young smart school girl whose parents have turned to the streets. Virginity intact and never before bitten. She's a real treat, if I could I'd keep her all to myself. But I've chosen to be generous and share her, in fact I plan to hand her over. The bidding starts at half a million, and trust me when I say she's worth every penny."
