Executing Bella

The time after that moment flew past in a blur and before she knew it, Mia was standing in front of basically the whole of vampire population.

Mia's eyes scanned the crowd as Aro addressed everyone. Mia spotted her mother next to her father not far from where she was. She have her daughter a reassuring smile and nod. Mia smiled back as she continued looking around. She could see the Cullens standing together in a far corner. Rosalie was looking at her.

'It's fine. We are fine." She mouthed to Mia who simply smiled and nodded.

Noticing the exchange, Edward looked at Mia as well. Mia saw him look and gave him a small, sad smile.

'I'm sorry." She mouthed.

'Queens don't apologise for such things." Edward mouthed back, making Mia smile.

Mia heard the last couple of sentences of her husband's speech and stepped forward.

"And we, the Volturi hopes that this execution of my dearest cousin will serve to remind everyone of the consequences should they ever break the law." Mia said. "The Volturi favours no one. A law breaker is a law breaker and will be punished as such."

With that, Aro motioned for Bella to be brought in.

Bella glanced at Mia once, this time looking truly scared.

"You can't do this." She said.

"Well then, watch me." Mia replied.

"The Volturi is merciless." Bella gritted out, but Mia was sure every vampire heard.

"The Volturi is merciless when it comes to people who break laws casually like you." Mia said, not even bothering to keep her voice low. "And that is why this execution is such an event. To remind people that the laws aren't to be taken casually."

"You haven't changed. You deserved each and everything bad that happened to you. My life was perfect until you came in and destroyed it." Bella started. "One day, and one day soon someone is going to kill each and every member of Volturi. Specially the so called elite class and members of this sorry excuse for a coven."

"Felix. Demetri." Mia said in an instructing tone, looking away from Bella and looking straight ahead.

Mia took a couple of steps back and was lost in her thoughts while Bella was executed.

"Are you ready, love?" Caius asked her after Bella was executed.

"Are you 100% sure it is the right time?" Mia asked.

"I'm positive." Caius replied.

Mia nodded and walked forward with Caius.

Once they were standing next to the the other kings, Aro spoke.

"This gathering was called for two reasons. One of which you all were aware of and one which no one here knows. And this reason was also the main reason for calling such a gathering. This gathering....."
