[ Misunderstood: Ch. 18 ]
"Uh, I don't think so." I said quietly.
She smirked, "Just admit it. Ya know what, let me show you." Before I registered what happened, her lips were on mine. I immediately pushed her away, "I have a girlfriend Quinn!" I said angrily.
But it was a bit too late because Devilla was standing at the bottom of the stairs, glaring at Quinn. I thought she'd be mad at me, but the way she reacted threw me completely off guard.
*Devilla's POV*
I stormed over and looked at Quinn, "This is how you kiss!" I yelled at her, and crashed my lips onto Daniel's.
I was going all out in rage and jealousy.. it was practically a make-out session right in front of Quinn.
When Daniel and I finally pulled apart, I looked at Quinn with a 'he's mine' look. "Get out please. I don't think I want you here anymore. I mean, you did kiss my boyfriend." I said, feeling victorious.
She just glared at me and stomped out of the apartment, slamming the door. I sighed, feeling really frustrated. Almost to the point where I wanted to cry. Then I felt Daniel hug me from behind and bury his face in my neck. He picked his head up lightly and whispered, "D, do you like me?"
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, "y-yea... I think I do..."
"I-I like you too D.." he whispered. His breath sent chills through me.
"Will you stay?" I asked him.
He nodded. "Good.." I choked out, tears finally falling.
I turned around and buried my face into his chest. I felt safe. I felt loved. I felt cared for.
We were laying in bed, just talking when I remembered I could go onto my roof. "Hey Dani, wanna go on the roof and look at the stars?" I ask suddenly.
He nodded, "Sure." I got up off the bed and opened the window. I climbed out just like I did before. Daniel soon followed, sitting beside me. He wrapped me in his arms and I leaned into his chest. "Hey D.. I've gotta ask you something." Daniel said.
I looked up, "Shoot."
What's his question? Has D finally given her trust to Daniel or will she push him away?
