[ (Finale) Misunderstood: Ch. 30 ]

The make-up stains didn't really come out so I had to think of a different way to fix the dress. Then an idea popped into my head. I quickly ran upstairs, well.. tried to run.. my leg wasn't much better yet. I searched my brothers unused office and found what I needed. A needle, purple thread, and some sparkly midnight purple accent roses.

I went back down and began to decorate the skirt of my dress.

~1 hour later~
The dress was fixed! The roses were dazzling on the skirt of the dress and it covered the stains up well. I smiled to myself. Maybe this date would be great after all... I thought about what shoes I would wear. I'll just wear my old silver sparkle flats. I grabbed them out of my bedroom closet. I let out a small squeal. Daniel actually asked me! "Maybe... maybe we can be more than friends..." I thought, smiling.

*Daniel's POV*
Anna's been bugging me all day about my date with Devilla. She asked what I would wear, what I would say, where we were going. I told her everything and she's now freaking out. She keeps yelling about how she'll finally have a big SISTER instead of just me.. "I kinda take offense to that" I replied goofily. She just rolled her eyes and went downstairs.

I looked down at my feet. I don't even know if she'll say yes... I pulled out the small black box with the beautiful ring inside. Hopefully, I'll be able to call her my girlfriend by tomorrow night...

~The Next Night~
My dress fit like a glove. It was perfect and it made me feel like a princess... I'm so thankful for Daniel... I applied my make up: primer, foundation, powder, blush, highlight, contour, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, a peachy lipstick, and finally, I did my eyebrows. I'm so nervous... I hope I look good enough... I checked to make sure I had my money, lipstick, and cellphone, then slipped on my shoes and grabbed my purse, walking out the door.

(A/N: I'M SO SORRY FOR ALL THE POV CHANGES! My past writer self got a bit carried away :))

*Daniel's POV*
I nervously drove up to her apartment building. I was fidgeting, playing with the cuffs of my casual tux as I sat outside. Then she came out and my mouth dropped open. How was I this lucky? She was gorgeous in every way possible...

She laughed as she opened the door, and I swear it was music. When she sat down, her hand came over to my face and shut my mouth. "Close your mouth. You're going to catch flies." I could see the blush rise on her cheeks.

"You look stunning D." I said breathily. The pink tinge on her cheeks darkened.

"Thanks Dani."

I shifted gears and we were off. I smiled at her as we neared the restaurant and she smiled back. I put one of my hands on hers and lightly squeezed. Then we pulled up. I took the keys out and then ran over to her side, opening the door for her.

I offered her my hand as she climbed out and she took it. The whole dinner, we laughed, talked, and ate like any normal couple would. I felt so free around her. Then I felt like it was time. I got up and went overto a now confused looking Devilla. I got on one knee right in front of her and grabbed the box from my pocket. She instantly put her hands to her mouth.

"Devilla Kiley Abbott:.. we've known each other for a few months, but it's felt like so much more. We've gone through so much together and I literally cannot believe how lucky I am to have someone like you. You are one of a kind. You are beautiful in ways I can't even begin to describe and it's all breathtaking. Will you do me with the honor of being my girlfriend?" I asked, smiling up at her.

*Devilla's POV*
I was crying. This boy was too sweet for his own good. All I could manage was a nod. He grabbed my hand lightly and slipped on a small silver ring with an infinity sign on it, decorated with diamonds and a 'forever' etched on the top right. It was beautiful.

Then Daniel began to speak again. "I bought this for a reason. This is a promise ring, and I promise to be there for you and love you until the day I die. I love you Devilla..." he finished, now kind of tearing up himself.

"I love you too pretty boy." I lightly grabbed his face and kissed him.

That's it! That's the last chapter of the main story! This book is horribly written, so I'm thankful it's over, but there are a few bonus chapters left to add on! I really hope you enjoyed. I hope you liked how this ended, and I hope you'll read my other fan fictions as well. 💘
