Malec- Life Changes [COMPLETED]

6~Reality

Looking back at old memories brought back feelings for both of them, emotions they'd forgotten. Alec couldn't remember the last time he'd laughed this hard, and actually meant it.

"How bored were you that you ended up merging our names together?" Magnus chuckled, looking over at the boy sat beside him.

"Well...I don't know I just kind of came to me" Alec admitted, not having much of a story behind it.

"Really? How can a name like that come to you unless you have mental problems" Magnus replied, laying on his side to look at the other boy.

"Hey" Alec said while punching Magnus in the arm "Well if I recall you agreed to it so..."

Alec layed down beside him, as they both attempted to calm down, when it finally died down Magnus asked the question he'd been wanting to ask since that morning.

"So you got a girlfriend huh?" he avoided eye contact with the boy, not wanting Alec to see the look on his face.

"Magnus don't start this" Alec sighed, as he looked up at the dark sky, avoiding all eye contact.

"I'm not starting anything, it's simply a question of interest" Magnus stated, not wanting an argument to rise because of a stupid question.

"Well if you're so interested, than yeah I've got a girlfriend" Alec looked to the side, and saw a look of sadness on the boys face "Lydia, the blonde one you saw this morning" he said softer this time.

"She seems nice" Magnus said even though it was killing him on the inside.

"Yeah she is, so... you're finally back how was Texas?" Alec asked trying to change the subject away from his personal life.

"It was great you know met a whole bunch of people, might have dated some of them-" Alec chuckled slightly, cause it felt like the right thing to do "But after 2 years, I couldn't stay any longer and Lana agreed to take me in after I begged them to let me come back"

"Your aunt...the one we always used to go to?" Alec asked, it felt like so long ago, he could hardly remember her face.

"Yeah, the tall brunette with green eyes, you were obsessed with her chocolate chip cookies" Magnus reminded him, a small smile covering his face as he talked about the memory.

"I could really do with some of those, they were delicious" Alec closed his eyes and locked his lips, remembering the taste they used to leave on his lips.

He propped his head up on his hand and looked down at the boy with adoration, barely holding back his hand to run it across his chest.

"What you looking at?" he asked instead, trying desperately not to reach out for the boy.

"Nothing just connecting all the starts together" Alec told him, pointing up at a cluster of stars that joined together just above them.

"To see what they become" Magnus said softly, remembering Alec's words from years ago. Alec focused his attention onto Magnus, copying his position as he turned his body to face Magnus.

He took in the boy in front of him and smiled, slowly reaching out to place his palm on Magnus' cheek, his thumb softly brushing against it.

"You're beautiful" he said barely above a whisper, so mesmerised by this boy.

Magnus let out a shy laugh, looked down for a second before looking straight at Alec and smiled.

"I never knew how to react when you said things like that...I still don't, and to get me to stop thinking you always-" Alec smiled out of amazement, as he leaned forward and captured the boys lips with his own. Ever since this morning he's been wanting to do that, and it's just like he remembers, earth shattering.

After a few seconds Magnus seemed to catch on to what was happening, and reciprocated the kiss, pulling Alec in even closer than before. Alec took that as a sign and climbed on top of Magnus, straddling his hips. They both realised the need for breath would take over soon and pulled back.

"Well...I um, that, you always used to do that" Magnus breathed out, not having finished his sentence earlier on.

"It was always the easiest way to shut you up...still is, it seems" Alec chuckled, placing a gentle kiss on his lips again.

"But um...you know, you're still with that girl, very much in a relationship" Magnus cleared his throat, he didn't want to take things forward if this was how it was going to be.

"You're cute when you worry" Alec says, laying down on top of Magnus, wanting to be closer. He ran his hand up Magnus' thigh, leaning in to kiss him again. 

"We can't" Magnus stayed firmly, turning his head away before Alex kissed him.

"Why not?" Alec lifted his head to get a better look at Magnus, guilt forming on his face.

"What do you mean why not, you have a girlfriend...Lydia" Magnus reminded him, this was obviously affecting him more than the other boy.

"Magnus I'm gay, you already know that" Alex countered, really wanting to move beyond that.

"I'm serious Alec" Magnus pushed Alec onto his side, wanting to have a proper conversation where they weren't pressed against one another "Is everyone still acting like it never happened?" Magnus looked down at the ground, remembering that awful day so clearly.

"Yeah...they believe it was a phase, and that I've grown out of it" Alec said hurt by the words he's heard all too many times.

"Do you think Lydia knows?" Magnus asked, gently taking hold of Alec's hands, giving them a reassuring squeeze.

"She might suspect something, but most likely ignoring it" Alec spoke softly "I've only ever said it out loud to a guy I met at a bar a while ago"

"Simon?" Magnus asked, which surprised Alec "I met him yesterday, we have a mutual friend"

"Did he have anything to do with you asking me out?" Alec asked, curious to know.

"Yeah...he told me about your chat, and I realised how you're still not out, and that you might want to talk" Magnus admitted to the boy, giving him a small smile.

Alec didn't say anything else, he simply stood up and held his hand back out for Magnus to take hold of. Alec intertwined his fingers with the boys, lifting his hand up to his lips to give them a soft kiss. 

"The way I feel for Lydia doesn't compare to the way I feel about you Magnus" Alec told him, pulling him in close.

"You wanna try telling me those feelings" Magnus brought his hand around Alec's waist, giving it a squeeze.

"I am so deeply in love with you, always have been since I saw you"

A tear began to well up in Magnus' eyes, Alec brushed it away with his thumb once it fell down his cheek

"I love you too, I never stopped" Magnus couldn't hold back anymore he pushed Alec up against a tree and kissed him like his life depended on it. He left a trail of kisses down Alec's neck, until he took hold of Magnus' head bringing him back up placing his lips on his warm, soft lips.

Magnus hadn't realised it was raining until Alec said in-between kisses "Why..does it...always...seem to...rain when we...kiss?" Magnus pulled away and looked up, rain dripping on his face.

Alec smiled at Magnus the stars and the moon behind the boy while the rain was falling on him seemed like a scene from a movie, but it wasn't a movie this was real and it was happening to him, nothing could ruin this.
