After a long wait of five days, my Quest Book started to glow and that was my signal that Dave-bot 3000 and Crazy Dave had returned from their vacation and that i can continue my training as an agent of L.E.A.F. I went straight to the garage where Dave-bot 3000 was waiting me.
**INITIATING**
Dave-bot 3000: Hello my green friend!
Dave-bot 3000:It's time to demonstrate Skill #2. Specifically, your ability to remove sand from shoes!
Peashooter: What do you mean?
Dave-bot 3000: Crazy Dave wrote his master plan for how to defeat Dr. Zomboss on the inside of his shoes. But then his shoes got wet...
Dave-bot 3000: So he left his shoes to dry by the volcano on Boney Island. A strategically unwise decision!
Dave-bot 3000: Now the Zombies find about the plans and want to steal the shoes so we need you to get them back!
Peashooter: Bring on the sand!
I went into Crazy Dave's van and flew to Boney Island. There was with me another plant. He was Frozen Citron. Frozen Citron was a plant hero who came from future to help us to defeat Dr.Zomboss. Right before the landing, Crazy Dave gave me some seeds. And so we landed on Boney Island. Boney Island was a volcanic island that existed for millions of years. In a very distant past, the place was roamed by huge Dino-plants. Some of their bones can still be found around the island. As soon as we landed, Frozen Citron planted the biggest seed we had and from the ground grown up a pedestal with a crystal flower on top. That was our garden. It was planted next to the shoe. We had to protect both the shoe and the garden. The shoe because of the secret plan written on it and the garden because it was healing us in battle as long as it was up. You might wonder why we didn't go back home immediately. The reason was that Crazy Dave forgotten to fuel the van and right after we hit the ground he went back to home and so we had to wait him. From the cave under the volcano we could hear the zombies playing with the bones they found out. As we were waiting, some sort of flying machine went to the other side of the island and landed. There it detached a whole bunch of zombies. They were coming for the shoe. The first wave was a breeze. I managed to shoot only two of them because Frozen Citron blasted the other with his Frosty Beam. In front of the second wave was an Imp. I let Frozen Citron to deal with him and I blown away the regular and dumb zombies with my Sombrero Chili Bean Bomb. The last wave was the toughest one. In front of him was a huge and ugly Gargantuar. I jumped on the roof of one of the stone cottages around there and use my Pea Gatling and started blasting peas. As he was approaching, me and Frozen Citron concentrated our weapons on that big dummy's face and very soon, he collapsed to the ground defeated, the little Imp riding on his back rolled downhill. All the others zombies ran back scared to that strange machine and flew back from wherever it came. We were victorious!
As we were looking at the zombies machine fading into the sun, we heard a loud honking sound closing on us. It was Crazy Dave with his trustworthy van, coming to get us and the shoe back.
Crazy Dave: Garble Marble! You did it!
Crazy Dave: Let's get out of here. Bring the shoes!
He beamed us up into the fan and flew away pass the smoking volcano. On our way back to the base, I kept asking myself what was the grand plan written on those shoes.
As soon as we arrived, I went straight to Dave-bot to get my reward and to find out what the plan was.
Dave-bot 3000:*****INITIATE GREETING #113*****
Dave-bot 3000: Dave-bot 3000 welcomes you with open arms and a pre-programmed smile!
Dave-bot 3000: You did a great job on Boney Island! Congratulations! Here is your reward for a well done job.

Peashooter: Thank you very much!
Peashooter: Now that we have the shoes back, may I know what is the plan written on them?
Dave-bot 3000: This is one of our best kept secrets. Are you sure you are up to the task of keeping this secret from the hands of our enemies??
Peashooter: Yes!
Dave-bot 3000: Very well. Those shoes hide the................... Crazy Dave's Secret Taco Sauce Recipe.
Peashooter: The what now??

Moments like that made me over the many years of service to ask myself if Crazy Dave was an insane genius, or just insane. But who am I to question the leadership that achieved so many great things. Now with some free time up my leafs I could explore the base more and meet some of my chlorophyll filled teammates.
