(Your P.O.V)~I groaned out as I buried my face under the pillow and blanket, blocking out all of the light and just trying to get some sleep. But thanks to the sun, I'm fully awake.
"Ah you're finally awake" I heard someone sigh out. I groaned out in reply before throwing off my blanket and sat up in my sick bed, glaring at the sunlight while rubbing my forehead. "You almost drained out all of your energy fighting that minotaur."
I looked at my side to see a tall boy about 16, with wavy blond hair framing his face perfectly, making his baby blue eyes twinkle in the sunlight.
I noticed he was wearing an orange camp shirt and khaki shorts, holding a mug. He wasnt bad looking at all, in fact he was ho-
Stop it (nickname), agh stupid female hormones.
"Are you done checking me out?" He asks, amusement clear on his voice, as he sets down the mug on the table next to the bed.
Almost immediately, my face heated up as I tried to avert my eyes from his form. "I-I..uh..um" I stuttered out, coughing awkwardly.
The boy chuckles, shaking his head at me. "I'm Will," he says, sitting down beside me on my sick bed, his blue twinkling with amusement. "Will Solace." he puts out his hand for me to shake.
"Uh...I-Im (Y/N)" I smiled, shaking his warm hand, before pulling away gently.
I took in my surroundings, confused as to where I was.
"W-where am I?" I asked mostly to myself, tilting my head to the side scratching my head trying to figure out what happened.
(Will Solace P.O.V)~
I watched her as she took in her surroundings. Her (e/c) orbs flitting everywhere as if memorizing every detail. Her (h/l) (h/c) gently cascading down her shoulders.
I still can't believe it. Here she is, sitting right in front of me, awake. The day she woke was the day Chiron ordered me to pull her plug because she didn't look like she was gonna make it.
But she did
Speaking of Chiron...when he first saw (y/n)'s sleeping form, his eyes widened slightly, filled with recognition, concern and care, as if he knew her. I asked him if he did. I saw him hesitate. I saw him pause.
"No" Was the only thing he told me before leaving.
For six weeks, I sat next to her, treating her, watching her sleep. For six weeks, I have fallen for this sleeping patient, not even knowing who she is.
But I do now.
I smiled at the sight of her, looking confused and lost like a puppy, she titled her head, scratching it. Her eyebrows scrunched up in frustration.
"W-where am I?" She asked, her voice sounding as soft as a million clouds.
Her face contorted into aggravation as she raked her long slender fingers through her (h/c) hair, sighing out deeply.
"Why cant I remember anything about what happened last time? Shit." I heard her mumble under her breath, making me chuckle due to the fact that she had cussed.
"You're in the infirmary (Y/N)," I say, biting my tongue to stop my laughter from slipping out of my mouth. "You hit your head hard on a rock when you fainted...or at least thats what my friend said when he bought you in" I gave out a light chuckle, making her blush as if she remembers something embarrassing.
"Ah...I see..." She rubs the back of her head awkwardly. "H-how long have I been...." her voice fades out in the end looking down as she played with the hem of her shirt.
"Oh...you've been out for 6 days"
This gets her attention, as she whips her head up at me looking shocked.
"S-SIX DAYS?! BECAUSE OF ONE STUPID ROCK!? AGH" she throws her hands up before plopping down to the bed, staring up at the ceiling. "...Why is the world spinning?"
"No, not a rock. Though it was part of the reason, but like I told you, you almost drained all of your energy away."
"Oh, that's...eventful."
I shake my head smiling. I stand up from her bed, grabbing the mug before turning to her.
"Here," I gave out my mug full of nectar to her, "Drink this, it'll help."
She stared at the mug cautiously before looking at me straight in my eyes, making my heart flutter.
She's even more beautiful awake.
I coughed awkwardly at the sleeve of my shirt, breaking away from her gaze "I-Its not poison. Its n-nectar"
She sat up slowly and gently pulls the mug away from my hands, feeling her soft fingers against my skin sent tingles up my spine.
"Thanks...Will" she smiled a smile that sent my heart leaping out to the moon. Hearing her say my name made me smile.
"No problem," I say, patting her head.
She looks at the liquid inside the mug for a minute before taking a sip.
Her (e/c) eyes widen as she looks at the liquid once more before gulping it down.
I laugh.
She stares at the mug longingly "It tastes like my mom's cheesecakes..." She looks up at me. "Um..."
"Yes?"
"Did...Was there..." She asked, almost hesitantly. Her fingers traced the mug's handle.
"Go on." I smiled gently, waiting for her to continue.
She pursed her lips, "Was there someone else...in the forest with me? Dark hair? Tall guy?"
"Ah." I looked out the window, remembering how she got into the camp's premises -- being carried unconsciously in the arms of someone unexpected. "That would be Nico Di Angelo. Son of Hades."
For a moment, everything was silent. I watched her reaction, expecting fear as many others showed once they knew the parentage of Nico. But she only nodded, pursing her lips as if it was no big surprise.
"You don't seem very surprised to hear this." I mused, watching her as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
She shrugged, smiling lightly. "Well, after all the monsters that I've been through knowing that the gods are real, I could barely be surprised."
I laughed, bending down and grabbing a duffel bag filled with clothes for her to change into. It's been placed there since she first arrived under the expectation that she would wake earlier -- maybe after a day's rest or two.
"So...how does the god thing work?" She asked, leaning back into her bed. Despite the nectar, her complexion was still pale as if she was more tired than she was letting on.
"One of your parents is an olympian god." I answered her. My hand unconsciously flying to her forehead to check her temperature. Normal.
"So who's your godly parent?"
"Apollo." I took the mug away from her hand gently, checking if it was finished completely. I looked up at her, worry washing over me. "Do you think you'll be okay to walk?"
The sides of her mouth twitched upward, her (E/c) eyes twinkled with delight. "Are you kidding? I'd do anything to get out of here."
I smiled. Her energy was adorable. Before I could say more, the trumpet outside horned. It was time for dinner. I looked back at her, handing her the duffel bag containing the camp shirt and an extra pair of jeans just her size -- courtesy of Piper McLean. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up before dinner. I'm sure Chiron and Mr. D would want to meet you."
