When (Y/n) stepped inside the blue house, the atmosphere stiffened. Eyes glanced at her warily as she walked in behind Nico and Connor. The pressure was so overbearing that she had completely forgotten that Nico was holding her hand until Will came over to them with what seemed to be a hair-raising calm smile.

"Come inside," Chiron ushered the three into the meeting room. A large circle table adorned the middle of room with inticate wooden interior. The walls around them opened out to a beautiful, vast garden filled with a variety of flowers. The smell of nature filled her nose and for a moment, she forgot the looks of dismay being thrown towards her. It was stunning, the whole architecture, the detail put into it was extremely beautiful.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Nico glanced down at the (h/c) haired girl whose eyes were shining brightly, a faint smile playing across his lips.

She nodded wordlessly, delighted by the endless wonders camp half-blood had. "It's amazing how they did that. It's like I just walked inside the closet to get into Narnia."

Nico studied the shine in her eyes, gulping down the words that were about to say that Annabeth had created this room, and led her forward into the room, taking a seat in the middle of the table.

(Y/n)'s eyes wandered around the campers, glancing over the familiar faces she would see everyday in camp. Across her was Clovis, who slumped back into his sleep after taking his seat. Next to him was Piper Mclean who seemed to be in deep conversation with Miranda Gardner. Every single senior counsellor she knew seemed to be here, except for one.

Annabeth sat alone in the front, the seat next to her unoccupied. (Y/n) didn't fail to notice the dismal look in Annabeth's grey eyes as she glanced towards the seat next to her and with a pang, she realized that the most important person in the council was absent

Percy was not here.

(Y/n)'s mind flashed back to the moment that was meant to be a happy reunion. Her brother had remembered her, due to the change in her appearance, but had she mistakenly struck him with her power?

Her hand trembled as she thought of multiple possibilities. All terrible. The weakness in her were starting to fill outside and it annoyed her. She wasn't like this. She was never like this. The days living and hiding away in the streets had toughened her up but she never would have imagined that she still kept this side of her inside. She bit her lip to keep herself from thinking too much and clasped her fingers inside her fist.

Her thoughts broke when she felt a familiar spread of warmth around her fingertips. (Y/n) opened her eyes only to see that Nico's hand had found its way around hers once again. She glanced at him, but he only stared calmly ahead.

Its okay. He seemed to saying as he clasped her hand in his once again, calming her down, only letting go when she squeezed his fingertips to let him know that she was alright now.

"Thank you." She whispered, knowing that Nico had heard her. The storm in her heart settled just in time for the meeting. She thanked Nico again mentally for calming her otherwise she wouldn't be able to handle what was to come after.

"Shall we start?" Chiron asked, as a matter-of-factly, his smile twinkling as he sat down.
