Mental//Tyler Joseph X Reader

Date (July 7)

Tonight was your date with Josh. But he had work today so you went to the park. You hoped Tyler would show up to give you some company but something inside you told you he wouldn't.

"Hey! Why didn't you tell me you were going on a date with Josh?"

Tyler seemed sort of upset.

But you didn't care. You needed to get over him. And you liked Josh.

"Yeah...it was pretty sudden...did he tell you?"

You asked scratching your arm.

"Yes. He did. Why didn't you?"

He asked.

"I dunno I guess I forgot and plus you were with Cassidy yesterday so I didn't wanna bother you."

You said.

"And it shouldn't be a big deal that you found out from Josh instead of me he's your friend too."

You added.

Tyler gulped.

"Why do you seem upset?"

You asked crossing your arms.

"I-I dunno...sorry I just...I dunno."

Tyler and you went back to the swings and sat down.

"So how's Cassidy?"

You asked.

"She's good...she's good theirs just one...small...problem...."

Tyler said slowly.

"What is it is everything okay?"

You asked.

"S-she does drugs..."

Tyler said.

"Tyler I know you like her but please, please don't get into any of her habits I'm begging you!"

You said grabbing his hands.

"I-I won't I promise."

Tyler replied.

You let go of his hands and moved away.

"Wanna see who can swing the highest?"

Tyler asked.

"You bet!"

You replied.

You add Tyler hung out for hours just like "old times" before Cassidy and before Tyler found out were hurting yourself. It felt so nice to just be his friend.

Time skip to yours and Josh's date

You had no idea what Josh had in mind for a date so you asked him.

"Just bring a bathing suit and something to wear over it."

He said.

Like a bathing suit cover? You put on the same black two piece you wore to the beach with Tyler with a black dress over it.

You got a text from Josh saying he was outside and you went out to see Josh in a suit leaning on the front of his car.

"Hey there."

He said with a smile.

"Hi."

You replied walking closer to him.

"Uh I didn't know what kind of flowers you'd like so I got a variety."

Josh pulled flowers from behind his back and held them in front of you. You grabbed them. It was a bouquet of roses, daises, and sunflowers. You smiled big.
