Having the flashbacks of the boy almost calmed me. I'd met him before. That was a good thing right? I couldn't remember a single thing about him but I knew I'd seen him before.

"Hey," I mumbled as I slowly drifted over towards the boy sat on the swings. I smiled at him awkwardly. It was sort of weird how I was meeting up with someone I didn't even know.

"Alright," He mumbled in return. He dropped the remains of a cigarette on the floor and stood up and lent against the metal frame of the swing.

We stood in silence for while. Could this get any more awkward. I started to swing back on and too on the swing softly. "So, did you have a good time last night?" I said the first thing that came to mind.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you can remember anything," He looked at me and smirked. He'd obviously seen the state I was in last night.

"I can't really," I stopped myself from swinging and chuckled. "I have no clue how I got home last night," I looked up at the tall boy, squinting my eyes because of the sun. He made me feel so small, he'd be quite intimidating to a small child. He was wearing all black and he was the size of a giant.

The boy laughed but avoided eye contact with me. "Judging by that, you can't remember my name?" he kicked a stone on the floor.

I pulled an awkward smile. "Nope, sorry,"

"Well my name's-"

A car horn interrupted the boy mind sentence.

'CALUM!" A voice shouted from a car that had pulled over on the side of the road a couple of metres away from us. Calum. His name is Calum.

"One sec," The boy started to jog over to the car. I remained on the swing alone. I pulled my phone from my pocket. I had a text off Cara asking if my head was any better. I replied with a simple answer. No.

I looked up from my phone to see the boy jogging back towards me. "Sorry, I just..erm..so yeah," the boy mumbled to himself.

"So you're name's Calum then?" a little laugh escaped my mouth.

A little smile creeped over Calum's face, this was the first bit of emotion I'd seen him show. He always seemed too busy being the smooth, mysterious guy. "Yeah, you're Georgia right?" I could tell from the tone of his voice that he was confident. He knew that was my name but he asked anyway.

"Yeah," I replied, looking up at him again. He'd returned to leaning against the swing frame so the sun was shining directly on him.

"Hey, do you want to hang out today?" Calum asked like we'd known each other for months. "It won't just be me and you, there'll be other people there too," His face remained expressionless, he doesn't give anything away.

"Sure," I honestly had nothing else to do and I wasn't in a hurry to get home. I didn't want to spend time with my mum even though it was only two days until she left to go to Perth. She'd only be in her office all day if I stayed at home anyway, so I may as well spend the day with Calum. He seemed like a nice guy. He had what Cara would call a 'bad-boy vibe' to him which drew me to him even more. I didn't fancy him, I just wanted to get to know him more.

"Well I've got some mates who are going to pick us up down the road, so you're going to have to walk for a few minutes," Calum was stood on his phone, clearly texting someone. What did he mean by 'you're going to have to walk'? What did he think I was expecting, a horse drawn carriage to come and pick me up?

"Alright," I pulled myself up from the swing by leaning on the chains. I wanted to reply sarcastically but I didn't feel like I knew Calum well enough to start making jokes.
