"Georgia, is that a hickey?" Cara asked, pointing to the spot on my neck where Ashton had left his mark.
"Ew, no," I shivered. "I burnt myself with the straighteners," I explained as I moved away from Cara so she couldn't see the rest of the marks on my neck.
"They're not burn marks," Cara said sternly.
"Yes they are, I didn't put ice on it straight away so it left marks," I mumbled. Once again I could tell Cara wasn't buying my story.
"If you insist," Cara chuckled as she took a sip from her glass.
"So how was your work out?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
"It was great thanks," Cara replied whilst tapping away at her phone. "Luke just text me asking if I wanted to go out tonight,"
"How are things between you two?" I wanted to try and talk about Cara as much as I could because that meant we didn't have to focus on me.
"They're good, he's really sweet," Cara smiled at the thought of Luke. "Do you want to come out with us tonight?"
I presumed that by 'out', Cara meant going to a club in town somewhere. Both Cara and I own fake IDs which we used non-stop when we were younger, so we wouldn't struggle getting into a nightclub in town. Since we'd both turned 17, we seemed to get into to places easier, but I always thought that was because Cara's dresses got shorter and shorter each time we went, not because we looked older. Cara only had to flash her boobs a little and the doormen would let us straight in.
"Yeah," I took a sip of my drink, then I remembered that I was meant to be sick. "I actually feel so much better than I did earlier," I couldn't let my little act drop as soon as a night out was mentioned.
"A few drinks will make you or break you," Cara laughed. I let out a little laugh but inside I was panicing. Hopefully I'd got away with my little 'sick' act.
These drinks were going to make me, I was sure of it.

I shifted my weight from one foot to another as we waited outside a club that Luke had chosen. The line was getting longer and longer, but no one seemed to be going in.
After about a 20 minute wait, we were finally allowed into the club. We weren't ID'd but I think the doorman was too distracted by Cara's chest to even think about asking us how old we were.
We fought our way through the crowd of people who were inside the club so we could get to the bar. Luke ordered a round of shots which were quickly downed in no time.
"I invited a group of my friends!" Luke shouted above the noise of the music so Cara and I could hear him.
"Oh cool," Cara said, she was too busy finding something to drink.
"Don't worry, I've told them to act like they don't know you," Luke said into my ear so I could hear him.
"Thanks," I smiled at him.
We had a few more drinks, then Michael, Ashton and Calum arrived. They'd definitely had a few drinks before they'd come and Michael was clearly high.
Cara and Luke were hanging around the bar, whilst I danced in the middle of the dance floor with Ashton, Calum and Michael. Luckily we didn't have to act like we didn't know each other because Cara was far enough away not to notice and she was that drunk, she wouldn't remember anything in the morning anyway.
Calum began chatting up some girl and Michael acted as his wingman, as Ashton and I continued to dance. He placed his hands on my hips as I swayed in time with the music.
