It was Wednesday afternoon and Ashton had text me saying that he desperately needed to see me after school. I had no idea what it was about but I knew that it wasn't just to hangout.

I waited impatiently at the end of the day for the bell to ring. I was meant to be going to maths revision but I'd only been twice in the past month, so missing it again wouldn't make any difference. My mum still wasn't any wiser about it me not going, I just made sure I didn't go straight home after school on a Wednesday. I usually hung out with Ashton either at his place or at work or with the rest of the boys down the alleyway where we first hung out.

The bell rang and I walked as fast as I could to get to the school gate before anyone else. I especially didn't want Cara seeing me, as far as she was aware, I was at maths revision like I normally was every Wednesday.

I walked out of school and down the road a little when I spotted Ashton down a side street. He was holding a motor bike helmet under his arm and there was a motor bike next to him. He was wearing a leather jacket and black skinny jeans. His hair was messy from his helmet and he looked even more of a 'bad boy'.

"I didn't know you had a bike?" I questioned as I approached him.

"My dad banned me from using it for a month because I got caught speeding but I got it back yesterday," Ashton explained. "Anyway, I need you to do me a favour,"

"What?" I could tell by Ashton's tone that this was serious. He was speaking quickly and sharply, which wasn't like him.

"I need you to give something to someone in your school," Ashton looked around wearily.

"Like what?" I asked slowly. I didn't understand why Ashton looked so on-edge when he was usually so calm. He was usually the one scaring people, not the other way round.

"You don't need to know but it's in this package," Ashton took the backpack that was on his back off and unzipped it. He pulled out a neatly packaged package and handed it to me. It wasn't very heavy or very big but what ever it was, it clearly meant a lot to Ashton. "Whatever you do, don't let anyone else see this,"

I continued to stare at the package that was resting in my hands. "What is it?"

"Like I said, you don't need to know," Ashton began, pushing my hands towards me, like he didn't want the few people that were around us to see the package. "I need you to keep it safe, don't let it out of your sight. Take it to school tomorrow and at lunch time, a guy will meet you at the back of the sports hall. He's tall and muscly but he won't hurt you. Just give him the package without anyone seeing then leave. Stay clear of any cameras and don't speak to anyone, not even him." Ashton rambled on. I was struggling to take in all the information he was giving me because he was talking so quickly.

"What happens if I get caught?" I asked, scared of what Ashton might reply with.

"You won't," he shook his head. "Will you?"

"No," I barely whispered.

I hid the package in the bottom of my bag so no one would be able to find it and I wouldn't be able to lose it. I didn't know what it was but I knew that I had to guard it with my life.

"I have to go but I'll speak to you later," Ashton said quickly before leaning down and planting a quick kiss on my lips. So that's where we're at. We're at the 'kissing before you leave' stage.

Ashton and I still hadn't really discussed where we were at with our 'relationship'. I knew that we were more than friends but we hadn't become anything official. There's been a few times when I've wanted to ask Ashton where this whole thing is going but I've never found the right time.
