Watching a familiar face walk into the coffee shop that I worked at I said. "Sorry sir, we're closed, someone rented the place out tonight."

Looking up with a closed smile Noah replied. "Yeah, I know, that was me."

"And why would you do that?" I questioned.

"I was hoping to have a date."

"Is she on her way?" I asked.

"Oh no, she's here, as a matter of fact she got here before me."

Looking around the empty shop, searching for the mystery woman that had the privilege to be on a date with such a beautiful man. "There's no one in here!"

"That's right, no one but you and me......."

Watching my eyebrow lift Noah asked."So how about it Scarlett Elizabeth Prince, would you like to go on a date with me?"

Snatching off my apron as I glanced up at the clock that read 6:00 which just so happened to be the time I was officially off the clock.

"Sorry I would, but I'm off the clock."

"Even better, now you won't get in trouble."

"Sorry, I really have to get home!"

"Can you at least show me to my seat?" Noah asked.

"You need me to show you to your seat?"

"Yes, ma'am."

Rolling my eyes I force a fake smile and says."Right this way sir."

I guided him to one of our better tables in a dead silence it wasn't until we got to the table that I finally spoke.

"So, how did you know I worked here?"

"Who said I knew you worked here?"

"So, you rented this whole coffee shops just in hopes I'd be here?" I questioned arching my eyebrow, not believing he just so happened to stumble across the place I worked by accident, he just doesn't seem like the type to do things outside his well planned out schedule. He looked like he did the exact same boring thing every day.

Reading my face, knowing I wasn't buying a single thing he said Noah raises his hands up in  defenseNoah says."Or maybe I asked around."

"Mmm, some would call that stalking."

"Or persistent."

"Call it what you want pretty boy, but I have to go." I replied, sending him another forced fake smile as I mentally tried to decide how I felt about him asking around where I worked and then actually having them actually tell him.

As I walked to the side door that I was forced to use I could feel Noah staring at me, and hard.

"You know the doors that way, right?" Noah asked I could tell he was genuinely confused just by the look he had on his face.

Rolling my eyes, at the thought of why I was forced to use a whole separate door I replied."You know I'm not allowed to use the front door."

"Why not?"

Arching my eye brow, I pointed to the whites only exit and then quickly turned on the heels of my feet. I mean did he seriously forget how twisted and back words this town is, the fact that we're the only town in this country that's stuck in the 1950's.

Walking to the side door almost hidden by the trash cans I quickly stopped, noticing the rain I yelled at myself in my head for not bringing a jacket or at least an umbrella.
