We were once a song
Lyrics and music
Is where we belong
We were a melody
Played on the stereo everyday…
Pop, Rock, Ballad, RnB
Whatever genre we can be
We never realized
We can also be ugly.
It only took a day
When singers didn’t want to sing us
When listeners hated to listen to us
Just like that we became a broken melody.
It wasn’t the fault of our composers
It was a fault within us
It was a fault that ripped us apart
It was a melody we’re not supposed to be.
