"Mom, he'll be mad if I'll come there," Rinig na rinig naman ni Maddie si Connor Andres habang may kinakausap ito sa phone. Katatapos lang kasi niyang magbihis at ayusin ang mga gamit niya. As usual, they will go together to school.
Connor Andres was currently fixing her lunch while talking over his phone in the dining area. Based on what she is hearing, probably he's just talking to his mom. Gaya rin niya ay nakabihis na rin ito.
"I know," Nakita pa niya itong bumuntong-hininga - like he was frustrated, "Okay, I miss you too. Bye." He quickly ended the call. Napatingin naman ito sa kanya. He sighed again. He seemed in bad mood though. Lumapit naman ito sa kanya dala-dala ang paper bag na naglalaman ng lunch niya.
Connor Andres offered his hand to her. Napakunot-noo naman siya rito.
"What?"
Connor then frowned, "Your bag, Maddison Grace." Anito sa kanya at kaagad naman niyang ibinigay dito ang hawak niyang sling bag. Afterwards, Connor Andres immediately went outside first. Nakaramdam naman siya ng inis. Why does this idiot so pissed and mad now?
It was even still early in the morning, hinahawaan na siya sa pagiging bad mood nito.
But despite of being an idiot, she won't deny that he was a gentleman. Connor Andres always offers her to bring her stuff.
Sumunod naman siya at sumakay na sa kotse katabi nito sa driver seat. The guy immediately started the engine and finally drove the car.
Maddie just kept silent while looking through the car's window. Mastrestress lang siya kapag kakausapin niya ang lalake, adding that the Connor is obviously pissed off about something. Baka mag-away na naman sila.
"Did you drink the milk I made for you last night?" He suddenly asked as she turned her head at him. His eyes were just on the road, his lips forming into a straight line.
"No," She answered flatly as her gaze went back to the window on his right.
She really was about to drink it but after the prenatal check-up and buying groceries yesterday, she really felt so tired. She even immediately went to bed the moment they arrived home. She noticed him entering her room during the night, bringing the milk and leaving it in the nightstand beside her bed. Pero talagang 'di niya talaga kayang bumangon pa kaya hindi na niya nainom iyon.
"Ang tigas ng ulo mo," He suddenly replied, pissed, "I'm always feeding you healthy food but you keep avoiding it. What the fuck is your problem?!" He hissed, raising his voice at her.
Kumunot naman ang noo ni Maddison dahil sa boses nito. She looked back at him, her eyebrows furrowed, "Well, nobody told you to do it, Rivera!" She hissed as well. Ano bang problema ng isang 'to?!
