"Hmm?"
"I want another baby."
Napatigil naman si Maddison sa pagbabasa niya ng novel dahil sa biglang sabi sa kanya ni Connor Andres. Both of them were currently in the living room, sitting on the couch while doing their own stuff. It was weekend and she doesn't have any work. She was just relaxing by reading Dan Brown's book Inferno while her baby Daddy was playing games with his phone. Ang kambal kasi ay kasama ang grandparents nito, the Rivera's at kanina lang umalis - to spend time and have fun with each other. Kagabi pa kasi dumating ang dalawang matanda at nagcheck-in lang sa isang hotel sa Australia.
And it has been three months since they both decided to take things slow. With her, being more open to Connor and trying to patch things up with him. Everything that is currently going on between them goes fine and okay - it's just that they're not in relationship yet and they're just friends.
She rolled her eyes at him, "Then go make another woman pregnant."
"Why would I go to another woman kung nandiyan ka naman."
"Connor Andres," She closed her book and looked at him, "Still no sex."
She knows he just want to have sex with that's why he is asking those stuff.
Tumigil naman ito sa paglalaro at tinignan siya. Sumimangot ito, "I'm staying here for more than half a year already but I still couldn't get sex from you. Kahit pity sex lang. Hindi ka ba naaawa sa akin?"
"Why are you so desperate?"
"Why not?" He even rolled his eyes now at her. Hindi niya alam kung matatawa siya sa ginawa nito o hindi, "Besides, probably you and your ex-nerd had a lots of sex - while me, nagkakamolds na."
"I didn't have sex with him," She immediately replied, reading back again her book, "Because the last time I had sex, I got pregnant."
Bigla naman itong natahimik matapos ang sinabi niya.
Narinig naman niya itong bumuntong-hininga, "That's why that motherfucker is salty. Well, good riddance for him."
"Look, Maddison Grace," She sighed as she put down her book and looked at him again, "We could have just sex without you getting pregnant."
"Huwag mo ng ipilit."
"I can always adjust. Pwede naman magcondom."
"No." She read her book and focused on it again.
"We're both adults, Maddie. Unlike before that we were teens but we're old enough now so sex doesn't have any problem anymore."
"Connor Andres."
"Fine."
Tumahimik na rin ito. Pero pagkatapos ng isang minuto ay muli na naman itong nagsalita.
