I was walking through the woods looking at the beautiful trees when I hear gun shots. Scared, I pulled out my revolver. then I saw two people running at me. "RUN!" a boy about 14 screamed at me. so I did. I ran all the way to the highway. "Hi, I'm Joshua, and this is my sister Maxine." Joshua said shaking my hand. "Hi, I'm Megan." I said. "Are you alone?" Maxine asked. "Ya. sadly. Well, I better get going. Another day in this world of the undead is awaiting me." I said,then started walking away when Joshua grabbed my arm. "No, your coming back with us." Joshua said. A smile came across my face and I turned around to hug him. At first, he was hesitant, but hugged me back. "awwww. Isn't that cute." Maxine said. "Shut up Maxine." Joshua snapped. I just giggled. "C'mone let's go." Joshua grumbled. Me and Maxine talked the whole way there. "this is our home on this undead earth." Joshua said leading me through the front door. "wow." I said looking at the old, run down house. "Mom, we have a new member of the group. her name is Megan." Joshua said going up the stairs. "Come on, I want you to meet my mom." Joshua said. I followed him up tho the 2nd floor and into a second kitchen. "Hi" said a middle aged woman. She stood up to shake my hand. "Hi, I'm Megan Dixon." I said smiling happily at her. "My name is Mary Jaxon." she said. "Joshua, why don't you go show Megan where she will be sleeping? We have a big day tomorrow." Mary said. "Yes mother." Joshua said. "You will have to share a room with me. Don't worry. I have a bunk bed." Joshua said. "ok." I said.

I was walking around outside when Joshua came out. "Whattcha doin'?" he asked, walking up beside me. "Keeping a look out for the undead." I said. "That's boring.You wanna know what's fun?" Joshua said with a playful glare. "What?" I said. Then he grabbed me and kissed me. Ya, it was fun. It was like fireworks going off around us. "Dinner time!" Mary yelled. So me and Joshua ran in. We had pork chops, green beans, and black eyed peas. It was the best dinner that I have had ever sense the outbreak. When we were done, I got up and put my plate in the sink."Let's all get to bed. We have a big big big fun day tomorrow. We need to find that prison and those people." Mary said. Me and Joshua walked back to his room. I had the top, so he had the bottom. "What prison are you talking about?" I asked. "I will tell you tomorrow. But for now, let's just get some sleep." he said. "Ok, good night." I said. "Good night beautiful." he said kissing my forehead. A smile came across my face, then I fell into a deep sleep.
