Chapter 26

Chloe's pov 

I woke up in my mom's room but she was gone. I got up and i walked to austin's room and he was sleeping. I smiled and grabbed some clothes and went in the restroom and took a quick shower.

I blow dried my hair and got dressed i walked out of my room and down to the cafeteria and it was empty. Where is everyone. 

I focused my hearing and i heard people arguing. I recognized the voices and i ran outside and i saw everyone in a huge circle and i pushed my way to the front. 

''WHY DONT YOU COME CLOSER AND TRY ME!'' kat growled

Rose went closer and i got in front of kat. 

''this isnt your fight'' rose said 

''mind telling me whats the problem kat'' i said 

''she was talking to her dumb ass friends saying how she was going to drug austin and get him to have sex with her'' kat said and i looked at rose.

''it just turned into my fight'' i said 

''oh is the little wolf gonna do something'' rose said and kat tried to go at rose but i stopped her.

''no kat i got this'' i said 

''rose your completely pathetic you can back up because im not going to fight you'' i said

''your kidding right!'' kat said 

''kat its lee's sister i may not like her but i respect lee'' i said 

''chloe she wants to have sex with your mate'' soph said 

''want is completely different from it really happening'' i said and i looked at rose.

''and plus its pretty obvious by now'' i said and smiled and pulled my shirt down to show my mark.

''austin don't want you'' i said and i grabbed kat and soph and walked away and everyone went inside and we sat at the table.

''sorry for my sister'' lee said 

''no worries'' i said 

''completely surprised you didn't bite her face off'' manda said 

''im going to be luna soon guys one thing i know is that luna's dont go around fighting other pack members'' i said

''im so proud of you'' austin linked me and i smiled 

''how about you get dressed and get down here'' i linked

''im right here beautiful'' he linked and i turned around and he smiled and kissed my forehead.

''morning guys'' austin said 

''morning'' they said 

''so where were you guy's yesterday'' austin said 

''oh! we forgot to tell you!'' alec said 

''we went skydiving and at huge ass burger's!'' andrew said 

''wow i missed alot'' austin said and laughed 

''hey that reminds me chloe your mom mentioned your birthday is in a week'' gray said 

''dont remind me'' i said 

''you dont like your birthday'' soph said 

''i have to go do something see you guy's later'' i said and i walked out of the pack house and into the woods.

It wasn't that i didnt like celebrating my birthday because i did. When i first moved into my grandma's i didn't celebrate my birthday for 3 years. When i turned 9 she took me to a hospital and she showed me all the kids that were sick the kids that never got to go home and celebrate their birthdays. After that i celebrated my birthday ever since. My last birthday she bought me a present it was a ring with my mom and dad's death date in roman numerals engraved on the inside i never take it off and no one ever asks about it because it looks like a plain old ring. Even though i know they are alive but i dont want to take it off because the date wasn't just the day they died its the day i moved in with her the day she started to care for me. Now that she's gone its hard to even celebrate my birthday its not cause im ungrateful its because it's hard when she's not here. I felt my tears go down my face and i wiped them away. I got next to a tree and took off my clothes and shifted grabbed my clothes in my mouth and ran and ran until i got to where i needed to be. The only person that knew this was henry and dan. They are the people i really want to see..
