Chapter 35

Chloe's pov 

I saw nothing but ash and home's on fire. I saw my dad lighting houses on fire and all the pups and older people screaming and burning to death. 

''LIGHT IT ON FIRE!'' dad yelled 

''NO!'' i yelled 

Then the scene changed and i saw the cells where emma evie and my mom were. How the other people shifted. I saw the guy i saw drowning austin he was helping and handing out food to people.

''hey zoey here's your food'' he said 

''thanks mason'' my mom said and smiled 

''no problem anything to get yall's strength up'' he said 

''what would we do without you'' she said and smiled 

''probably would've been gone by now'' he said and frowned

''hey what you're doing mason is nice you are risking your life to give us food and keep our strength up a little goes a long way'' she said 

''how was the shift'' he said 

''hurtful and painful'' she said and the scene faded 

''are you gonna tell her when you find her'' mason said to my mom 

''when i find her im going to make sure she's always safe'' she said 

''what about him will you tell her about him'' mason said 

''mason he's twenty two and is working for a high paid company he doesn't know me nor does he know his father or chloe i think it would be best if cameron or chloe never found out'' she said 

''be safe with them okay'' he said 

''i will thank you for helping us escape'' she said and smiled 

''no problem'' he said and the scene changed again and he was running. 

He was running and i felt the fear i felt the anxiety coming off him the panicking. He was bitten by something thats when i saw austin and then he saw something else he saw my dad. He tackled him and he knocked him out and dragged him to the river and started to drown him and thats when i came and everything happened. 

I shot up and i screamed and everyone ran in and austin grabbed me and held me down along with kat, soph, alec, and drew.

''chloe calm down your fine'' austin said and i looked at him and i stopped screaming and i relaxed.

''there see you are okay'' austin said and i hugged him and then i remembered what my mom said 

''where is my mom'' i said 

''CHLOE!'' she said running in and hugged me and i pushed her off.

''who the hell is cameron'' i said and she widened her eyes.

''where did you hear that name'' she said 

''who the hell is he mom'' i said 

''can we talk in private then'' she said 

''no whatever you have to say you can say it in front of my friends and mate'' i said 

''fine'' she said 

''he's your brother'' she said 

I was taken back... 

''get out'' i said
