Chloe's pov

I saw mason and emma laying down in the bed and she had the same shirt she gave me on. 

''i love you'' mason said and she looked at him.

''i love you too mase'' she said and they kissed and the scene changed.

''you leave tonight beautiful you will be out of here'' mason said and smiled at emma 

''what about you what happen's when they find out it was you that set us free mase'' she said 

''i would give my life to make you happy'' he said and smiled 

''i know you don't feel it but i love you mase you're my mate'' she said and he smiled 

''i know beautiful'' he said and he kissed her and the scene changed 

''YOU IT WAS YOU WHO LET THEM FREE!'' a familiar voice said but it was over the phone.

''im sorry sir the dogs wanted a day out and i had too'' mason said

''well then i hope you know that i had to get my guy's to get rid of you then'' my dad said and the phone went dead and they held mason down.

''PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!'' mason yelled and they brought in a big needle and they injected it into his side and he screamed in pain and they threw him out and thats when i saw him get attacked by a rogue and the rogue bit him and he ran and then everything went black. 

I shot up and i screamed and henry emma dan and evie held me down and calmed me down. 

''what what was it chloe'' emma said concerned i could see it now the hurt in her eyes the pain she hid it so well i didn't even notice at first.

''guys i need to talk to emma'' i said and they looked at me and i sighed 

''alone'' i said and they left 

''AND NO WOLF HEARING HENRY OR VAMP HEARING DAN'' i yelled 

''he was your mate emma'' i said and she sighed 

''i knew you would see that'' she said and i grabbed her hand

''you don't have to hide it emma you lost him he was your mate don't hold in pain like that'' i said and i hugged her and she broke down.

''when i got there i knew it was him i kept it from him i didn't think he would want to be with a werewolf'' she said and cried 

''but he started talking to me he flirted with me and he said he had this pull to me he had this need to always be with me the need to protect me'' she said 

''we talked for weeks every night at midnight he would come into my room and lay with me till five in the morning and then he left so he wouldn't get caught no one knew not even my mom'' she said 

''i shouldn't have left him there'' she said and she cried 

''hey look at me'' i said and she looked up

''what mason did was out of bravery any mate would do that he would go through the hell he went through one thousand more times even if it meant for you to be safe'' i said 

''i loved him chloe more than anything'' she said and cried and i hugged her.

''im so sorry emma if it wasn't for austin he would be alive'' i said 

''hey no i understand why he did it don't apologize i know he did it to save you'' she said and smiled 

''he wouldn't have made it through the night anyways i'd rather him be at peace'' she said and gave me a hug.

''did you see who did it'' she said 

''thats the part you might get angry at'' i said 

''it was my dad'' i said 

''but he's in jail'' she said 

''they called him when they found out it was him who let yall out he was angry'' i said

''what i want to know is how did your dad never notice your mom was there'' she said

''she used to have jet black hair and used to be a bit chubbier now she's more lean and has light brown hair i barley even recognized her'' i said 

''well now we know what happened'' she said 

''but it wasn't just the bite that killed him they injected him with something i just don't know what but it looked painful'' i said 

''chloe you need to get here...like right now'' sophia linked me

''what is it im in the middle of something'' i linked her 

''its about the guy and he's kind of awake'' she linked and i widened my eyes 

''ill be there'' i linked and i grabbed emma's hand and ran outside and grabbed dan's hand 

''take me back'' i said 

''why whats wrong'' he said 

''DO IT!'' i growled and we zipped back home and to the pack house and into my mom's room. 

''what happened'' i said 

''he started moving'' soph said 

''oh my god'' emma said and she sat next to him

''oh my god'' dan said 

''what's that smell'' he said 

''decay'' i said 

''he's dying'' kat said 

''he should've been dead why is he still alive'' emma said 

''let me see'' i said and i sat next to him 

''what ever happens don't break the bond unless it looks life threatening'' i said 

''babe no'' austin said 

''i said don't do it'' i said and my eyes glowed and he took a step back and i looked at mason and i took a deep breath and i grabbed his hand and.........
