Chloe's pov

''morning gorgeous'' austin said and smiled as i was getting dressed.

''morning'' i said and smiled

''do you have to go'' he said

''yes baby i do ill be home soon okay'' i said and cameron came in.

''im ready'' he said

''lets go'' i said and i grabbed a bag of dust and cameron groaned.

''noooo'' he said and i rolled my eyes.

''shut up and grab my hand you baby'' i said and austin laughed

''bye beautiful be careful please'' he said and i smiled

''always'' i said and i threw the dust down and we were pulled and this time i didn't have the nausea and i landed perfectly while cameron was laying on the floor trying not to throw up.

''i hate that'' he said

''you'll get used to it'' i said and chief walked in and smiled.

''good you're here'' he said

''wouldn't miss it chief'' i said

''alright the next suspected victim is this girl she matches the descriptions and everything keep an eye on her'' he said and i nodded

''i will protect her with my last living breath'' i said and he gave us the keys to a car and we drove to the elementary school.

''what do you think is gonna happen'' cameron said as i parked the car at the entrance.

''it can end in so many ways'' i said

''whats the worst one'' he said

''i can rip his head off'' i said

''no more details needed then'' he said and looked out the window and i chuckled.

''so brother and sister bonding'' he said and smiled

''you already know everything'' i said and he rolled his eyes

''i didn't know about buddy'' he said and i rolled my eyes and i showed him my ring.

''i spent the last few days with you how did you not notice'' i said

''i don't look at peoples hands'' he said and i chuckled.

''we haven't even started planning'' i said

''well lets see he proposed on christmas that same day amanda was taken found out she was a witch and she had a brother also found out i was a banshee then you know then there is the part where my dad well our dad is trying to kill us and the part where i am not talking to mom and just so much paper work back at the pack house i haven't even started'' i said and groaned

''chloe'' he said

''can i give you a piece of advice'' he said and i nodded

''you are twenty seven right'' he said and i nodded

''alright you lived almost all your life going through obstacle after obstacle and you come out shining on the top we have people coming after us yes but that does not mean we run in fear we fight to live another day our dad may not like us but you have that henry guy and you have mom'' he said

''most of all you have me now'' he said and smiled

''cheesy ass'' i said and he rolled his eyes

''the conversation you had with mom after you left mine and gracie's room last night chloe you shouldn't be mad at her'' he said

''why not'' i said

''she was gone she couldn't tell you i was born nine months after mom was taken how could she tell you'' he said and i looked at him

''cameron you were born before she was taken'' i said

''what'' he said

''your twenty three im twenty seven which means you were born when i was four and when she was taken i was five turning six'' i said and he looked down.

''why did she give me away'' he said

''i don't know'' i said and sighed

''i now know why she got fat'' i said

''you didn't think to ask'' he said and chuckled

''i was four i thought she ate too many burgers'' i said and he laughed

''well whatever happened chloe we are together now isn't that all that matters'' he said

''i just wish i had the chance to grow up with you'' i said

''i just don't want you to be mad at mom you thought she was dead for so long and you just got her back i don't want that to come in between you guys'' he said

''ill think about it'' i said and he sighed

''you are so stubborn'' he said

''not stubborn i just hate when people keep secrets especially like this'' i said

''i made peace with it you should too and it should make you feel fine with it after all she didn't give you away she gave me away'' he said and i sighed

''i know its just they both changed so much'' i said

''i don't really know her i know nothing its like i look at her i know she's my mom and i love her with all of my heart but eleven years is enough time to change so much about yourself'' i said

''i know you i have been inside your head i know what has happened to you and everything but mom its just there is times where i don't feel that way then there is times like this where i just feel like i don't know her'' i said and he grabbed my hand
