Chapter 27

Chloe's pov 

''fine lets go'' i said and grabbed his hand.

''upstairs now'' i linked everyone.

We got upstairs to our room and they were there sitting down.

''my grandma died'' i said and i sat down.

''chloe what-'' i stopped alec

''im opening up to you guys someone told me that i cant keep bottling it up'' i said 

''this ring has the date my parent's "died" my grandma gave it to me for my 26th birthday'' i said 

''when my parent's died i didnt celebrate my birthday for three years on my ninth birthday my grandma told me she was taking me to the hospital i didnt ask why i just went with her and she showed me all the sick kids the kids that never get the chance to go home and celebrate their birthdays or sometimes even lucky they make it to their next birthday'' i said 

''after that i celebrated my birthday every year and when she died it was hard for me to even celebrate her's it was a few day's after she died'' i said 

''the day of her birthday this ring wasn't just the date my parent's died its the day she took me in no hesitation she knew that taking care of a five year old was alot of work but she did it she fed me clothed me cared and loved me unconditionally'' i said and i wiped my tears.

''when i was married to my ex husband she was the very first person i went to when he first abused me. she wanted to tell the police but i refused i said it was probably an accident he was drunk and he didnt know what he was doing after that i didnt tell her about it again i took a beating every other day for almost 5 or 6 years. the only people that knew was my co-worker amanda and my chief'' i said 

''the day i left i drove and never looked back..'' i said 

I explained everything else that happened from the day i left till now.

''oh chloe..'' kat said 

''i dont want to come off as a girl who doesn't want to celebrate her birthday because im ungrateful i just i cant this year'' i said 

''we understand chloe dont worry'' manda said and smiled and she gave me hug.

''you opening up to us means the most'' she said 

''okay okay guys no more life story i have things i need to do'' i said and smiled 

''we love you chloe'' drew said and gave me a hug

''love you too drew'' i said and smiled 

''oh come here you'' gracie said and i chuckled

''gray your crushing me'' i said and she pulled away.

''sorry'' she said and smiled 

''okay ill see you guy's later'' i said and smiled 

''bye beautiful be careful'' austin said and i gave him a kiss.

''always'' i said i grabbed my keys and got in my truck and drove into town and went to the mall.

''alright christmas shopping here we go'' i said 

I walked into the mall and i walked into pink. I looked at my list:

I know the stuff i was getting was a little over the top and really expensive but i mean i love these guys they literally deserve the best no matter the price. I stopped at the food court to get some food and then went back to shopping.

After i got all the presents i loaded them in the truck and i put the papers for the custom made stuff in my glove department the stuff for dan was going to be ready tomorrow so i was gonna come back tomorrow now its time to go get the papers for henry's gift. 

I walked into the court house and i finally got the paper work done. I smiled at the papers i was now officially and legally Chloe Crystal Reed. Yes my middle name is crystal. it was my grandma's name and honestly i've never had a problem with it.

I got all the wrapping paper and boxes i needed so i could wrap the gifts and went back home. I got some pack members to help me take the bags into austins room and i locked the door so no one could come in. 

''expensive'' austin said coming out of the restroom and i covered his present.

''out!'' i said and crossed my arms.

''babe vera wang, louis vuitton, gucci, james allen, olivia burtton what did you do buy the whole store'' he said 

''how much did you spend'' he said 

''umm'' i said 

''chloe'' he said 

''only like nine hundred thousand dollars'' i said 

''BABE!'' he said 

''what i mean it was oliver's money anyways so i used it i still have like five hundred thousand left'' i said and shrugged and he shook his head and i pushed him out of the room.

''dont say anything you butt face'' i said and he chuckled and i locked the door and started wrapping. 

Four completely long hours later i wrapped only half of the gifts i groaned and layed on the floor for a few seconds and then i got up and put the presents that weren't wrapped in the closet thankfully i wrapped austin's already and everyone here so they couldn't see them the only people i needed to wrap was everyone from Grey creek so ill finish tomorrow. I unlocked the door and i layed on the bed and just fell asleep.
