A Believing Heart Is Your Magic (Part 2)

In his room, Andrew was just finished dressing up. Unlike his usual dark-colored formal attire, he was wearing a white button-up shirt, a light grey blazer, and jeans. It was rather casual, which was very unusual of him.

An owl flew through the window. It came with a letter attached to its claw. Andrew took the letter from the owl and read its content:

Atsuko Kagari is busy today with her flying lesson. She asked you to come to Luna Nova instead.

After reading the letter, Andrew folded it and put it inside his blazer pocket. He sighed and let the owl fly out the window. A notification from his phone sounded. Andrew pulled out his phone and check his text messenger. It was from Frank.

Frank: Hey Andrew! How r u feeling about ur first date with Ms. Kagari! I bet ur excited aren't u? 😉

Andrew looked annoyed at the message and texted back.

Andrew: It's not a date. I was just going to return her hat that's all.

Frank: Sureeeeeeeee 😉

Andrew: Anyway I'm off to Luna Nova now.

Frank: Luna Nova? I thought ur gonna meet up with her in town?

Frank: Ohhhhhh I no wut ur doing there. U really r a romantic Andrew 😁

Andrew: No, Ms. Kagari has other plan, so she asked me to meet her at her school.

Frank: Oh in dat case can I tag along?

Andrew: Why?

Frank: And y not? I c u wanna go see ms. cutie witch on ur own 😎

Andrew: ?

Frank: Ms. Kagari. Dats wut everyone call her nowadays. Have u not seen on fb?

Andrew: No.

Frank: Twitter? Instagram? YouTube?

Andrew:

Frank: Have u follow any social media?

Andrew: No. I have not got a time for such things.

Frank: 😲😲😲

Frank: I shouldn't be dat surprise. Anyway, I'm going to Luna Nova with u and u can't stop me cuz I'm already outside ur house!

"...."

Andrew grabbed Akko's witch hat and walked down stairs. He walked out the front door, and there was Frank, waiting in front of his house. Frank was wearing a navy blue t-shirt, a forest green jacket, and jeans.

Frank waved at Andrew, "Well, let's go!"

"You're making yourself way too comfortable," Andrew said and followed Frank inside the car. Frank laughed.

The boys sat on the back seats, and the driver started to drive away from the manor. Frank was humming to himself. Andrew just looked out the window.

"Excited Andrew?" Frank asked his best friend as he grinned slyly.

Still looking out the window, Andrew said, "Why would you want to come with me?"

"Aww don't be like that! What kind of best friend would I be if I were to leave you alone? I'm your wingman, remember?"

"I've never agreed to this," Andrew glanced at Frank, "and you have a different reason."

"Huh?"

"I know you just wanted see the witches there, so you can flirt with them." He looked back out the window.

"What? No! I'm not like that!" Frank defend himself, "...there's only one girl in my heart."

Andrew looked at his friend and back at the window.

Frank said, "What's with the silent? I'm telling the truth, man!"

"What happened to Elza?" Andrew asked.

"Elza? Who- oh Elisa? No, she was just a small crush."

Andrew sighed, "You say that every time you found someone new you like."

"What? No, I don't! This girl is different. I swear!"

"..."

Frank looked at Andrew and said, "It's Ms. Kagari.."

"..."

Andrew startled and looked at Frank with wide eyes. His brows furrowed. Frank just smiled at him and started to chuckled.

"Wha.."

"I got you Andrew Hanbridge! Bhahaha!" Frank laughed, "You should see the look on your face. Hahaha!"

Andrew looked annoyed and faced away from his idiot friend. A blush creeped on his cheeks.

"I was kidding! Haha. It's Ms. Lotte, Akko's friend! Hahaha!" Frank teased Andrew, "Now, I really know that you like Ms. Cutie Witch."

Andrew blushed harder and retort, "No, I don't! She's just a friend."

"I know you're blushing over there, Andrew," Frank continued to laugh.

Andrew decided to not say anything and just let his friend looked like a laughing idiot. He decided to stick to his word, Ms. Kagari is just a friend.. and nothing more. But no matter how many times he says this to himself, the images of Atsuko Kagari would not leave his minds.

Author's note:
I'm trying to make the stories as realistic as possible (by realistic I mean how the show would potrait the story), so I won't rush anything between Akko and Andrew or Lotte and Frank. I warn you now that there won't be many romantic scenes at the beginning of the story. Both Andrew and Akko are stupid about romantic feelings, so they will be slower than the other couples. I also have a plot in mind that will make the story more interesting.
