A New Beginning (Akko x Andrew) *HIATUS*

Magical Celebration (Part 3)

The witches walked toward the back of the room and disappeared behind a door.

Andrew wondered, what could they possibly be up to now?

"Andrew." His father called from behind him, "We have something to discuss. Come with me." He walked off, and the young Hanbridge followed.

His friends watched Andrew as he walk off. They shrugged and went on with their conversation. It was not unusual for Andrew to suddenly left his friends for his father's business...

Paul Hanbridge led his son to another room adjacent to the room they left. In this room, there were more officials and business men and women. Andrew thought he probably have to listen to more boring business talks. He had to, though, because he is bound to become a leader like his father in the future.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," his father said to a man. He seemed to be in his 50s, "I also apologize for the situation we have. I will make sure to resolve it quickly."

"No troubles. We feel quite welcome despite all that. Ho Ho!" The man said in relax tone.

"Then that's a relieve. Monsieur LeBeau, I would like to introduce you to my son, Andrew." Hanbridge senior gestured to his son, "Andrew, this is Monsieur Jean LeBeau. Monsieur LeBeau is the French ambassador to our country."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." Andrew shook hands with the ambassador.

"Ho Ho! The pleasure is mine!" he smiled brightly. He turned to Hanbridge senior. "I would like to introduce you to my son as well. Antoine, this is Lord Paul Hanbridge, minister of State. "

"An honour to meet you, sir." Antoine shook hands with Paul Hanbridge. He then looked to Andrew and initiated a hand shake, "Antoine LeBeau. You must be Andrew."

"Yes. Andrew Hanbridge," he replied and shook hands with Antoine.

"Nice to meet you, Andrew," he smiled.

Diana, her teammates, and the professors awaited Akko and the others inside a room...

"Here we are," said Professor Chariot.

Akko and her friends looked confused. What's going? Why are the other professors here, too?

"Good," said Diana, "Now, we can start planning."

"Today is a special day for us, witches and the norms to join, unite, and celebrate," said Headmistress Holbrooke, "Let's come up with something that will send a clear, meaningful message to everyone."

The witches cooperated to come up with speeches, scripts, and a magic show for the party. Akko and Amanda suggested a show will be very attention-grabbing. Chariot supported the idea, saying that people tends to focus and remember better with visual aids. Diana and Professor Finnelan were skeptical at first but ultimately supported them. Everyone else were happy to help, especially the headmistress who was excited the whole time. Sucy seemed bored like always, but Akko was quite sure that she was secretly enjoying, too.

About an hour later at the other room where the boys of Appleton Academy were conversing...

"There you are, Andrew." said Frank, "You took forever."

Andrew approached his friends with Antoine beside him.

"My father had much to discuss... politics and other matters, but mainly about the upcoming event..." said Andrew.

"Hello," Antoine greeted Andrew's friends. The friends greeted back.

"This is Antoine," said Andrew and gestured at the blonde next to him.
