"Wind? Good! Broom? Good! Timing? Good! Because today is Mayfair!" Atsuko Kagari announced in excitement. She was ready to fly!
"Tia freyre!" she casted the broom flying spell. The end of the broom light up tiny bit before it died...
"Tia freyre! Tia freyre! TIA FREYREEEEEEEE!!!!!" She cried out multiple times.
Nearby, Akko's friends were hanging out. Jasminka was eating sandwich with Hannah, and Sucy was playing a video game with Constanze.
"Big surprise," Sucy said sarcastically, "it didn't work today either."
Lotte was reading Night Fall with Barbara before she looked up and said, "But it looked like it was closer this time, Akko." Akko looked relieved, "Really?" Lotte smiled at her and reassured her, "It's getting better each time you try."
"I don't know. Looked just as bad as it dud the first time you tried," commented Amanda who was sitting at the table with Diana.
Akko got angry and said, "Hey! I thought you guys are all here to cheer me on!"
Diana put her tea down. With a calm voice she said, "I'm only here because you sounded so confident, but it doesn't seem today will be your shining moment." Akko pouted at her remark.
From the distance, Professor Chariot approached Akko along with Headmistress Holbrooke, Professor Finnelan, Andrew, and Frank.

"Whatever! I really think today's the day!" Akko reassured herself.
Andrew watched Akko as she was announcing in confidence. His lips formed a small smile as he held Akko's hat a bit tighter.
"No, I know it is!" Akko declared.
Frank elbowed Andrew and winked at him. Andrew frowned at Frank and returned his gaze to Akko, and she was looking back at him. Andrew and Frank waved at Akko. She smiled and waved back.
Akko got off from the broom and approached Andrew. "You got Diana's message. Sorry that you have to change your plan hehe," she said. There was a small blush on her cheeks. Frank and the professors walked toward the other students.
"It's quite alright," Andrew said and handed the hat back to its owner, "You left this, again."

Akko took the hat from Andrew. "Thanks, Andrew! So that's where it was.. and here I thought I lost it in the Ley Lines or something hehe," she said and scratched her head.
"No, Ms. Kagari. After I handed it back to you, you left it with me... again," he said with a sly smile. Akko's face became more red. It was bright pink. She turned her face away from him and declared, "Don't you worry. That won't happen again!"
There was silence for a couple of seconds before Andrew started to chuckled. Akko turned to face him and retorted, "What's so funny!?" Her face was still the same shade of pink. "N-nothing hehehehahaha!" Andrew's chuckle turned into a laugh. Akko changed her attitude and laughed with him, even though she did not quite understand why he started to laugh. They both looked so happy.
The students heard them and turned their attention to the two laughing idiots. Hannah and Barbara were shock, why is the handsom Andrew laughing with Akko!?!
"You're laughing again," Akko said with her big smile, "I'm glad to see you're happy." Andrew stopped laughing. His eyes widen as he blushed a little. Seeing his new expression, Akko smiled wider and blushed. Her smile were sincere, and her eyes were soft. Through Andrew's eyes, Akko suddenly looked prettier, she certainly is Ms. Cutie Witch... Wait, what!?!
"Akko! Are you gonna fly or what!?"
Andrew snapped back from his trance. His expression returned his usual cold eyes, and he looked at the person who interrupted him. It was Amanda.
Akko was startled by Amanda's shout. "Y-yeah! I'll fly now," she answered. She wore her hat, and returned to her friends.
"All right!" Akko smiled with confidence and got on her broom. She was ready to fly! Her friends and professors circled around her. "Just stay calm and remember..." said Lotte, "...a believing heart.."
"..is your magic, right?" Sucy finished the sentence. Akko smiled wide and shouted "Yup!" She laughed and her laughter resonant around her while her friends and professors watched her with happiness in their eyes. Then, their eyes got wider as if they just saw something impossible.
"Akko!" Lotte was the first to speak up. She glanced at Akko to look down. "Huh?" confused, Akko looked below and her legs were dangling in the air! Everyone looked shocked.
"..."
"She flew," Constanze broke the silence.
"All right! I did it!" Akko cheered.

Everyone cheered and congratulate her. Akko continued to laugh and everyone with her.
The girls were also surprised by Contanze's simple word. They asked her to speak again, but she refused. Amanda encouraged Akko to fly higher. Akko slowly flew higher and laughed. She was not used to controlling the broom. Andrew simply watched her and smiled, a little witch who could not fly is now flying at this very moment. Who could have thought such things were possible.
Author's note: I'll be flying to Vegas tomorrow, so I don't know if I will be able to update then. I'll be on vacation for a week, and I'll try to update as frequently as I can anyway. Wish me luck!
