Sucy Manbavaran may seemed like a gloomy witch who cares for nothing but mushrooms. It may seemed like that from how she acts, but she was actually a caring person. Sucy realized that Akko and Lotte are pretty much just like any teenage girls, and someday, they may find someone they like. Sucy cared deeply for her friends. She would be happy if they really find that someone. But she would also feel concern for her them. She may not show it, but she would support and protect her friends.
Sucy eyed at Frank who was talking with Lotte. To Sucy, he looked stupid, but he also seemed nice. She didn't know much about him other than being Andrew's best friend... probably. She would evaluate him further before leaving Lotte alone with him. She would also keep an eye on Andrew since his conservative nature made him look suspicious. He may seemed like a gentleman, but Sucy didn't quite trust him. She had planted a magic pin on Akko's coat that would allow her to eavesdrop on their conversation. She couldn't let anyone hurt Akko since Sucy, herself, was the only one allowed to do that.
Frank smiled happily while talking with Lotte. She giggled when he said something funny. Lotte was a little shy at the beginning, but he started to talk more as she becomes more relax. Sometimes Lotte would talked about spirits or Night Fall, which confused Frank. He was shy to ask for clarification at first and pretended to understand. Sucy was not amused of his action. But later, he would ask her politely and tried to understand. Lotte was happy to explain to him. That pleased Sucy. Once she was content with how thing was going between these two, Sucy left to find ingredient for her potions...
"Wow! That sounds like an amazing book to read!" Frank exclaimed.
Lotte smiled happily at the compliment Frank gave to her favorite novel, "Yes, Night Fall is a mastery of its own! I really recommend reading it!"
"Alright! How many volumes are there?"
"Umm 365. Hehe..," Lotte scratched her cheeks, fearing that the lengthy novel would scare him to quit even before beginning.
"Oh..."
Lotte looked down on the floor in disappointment, yeah, he probably will not want to read it...
"Really!?" his response startled her, "That must means the series is very good if it's that popular!" Lotte glanced at him. Frank was smiling from ear to ear, "All right! Where do I start?"
Lotte blinked at his enthusiasm. She didn't expect him to be interested in Night Fall. Usually, anyone who heard about the number of books this novel generated would run away. She smiled genuinely and said, "Most bookstores should have Night Fall in stock. Shall we go check it out?"
Still smiling, Frank nodded approvingly. Lotte led him to her favorite bookstore in town. Neither Lotte nor Frank noticed that the puce haired witch was no longer following them.

Akko slowly started to feel better as her body started to warm up in Andrew's arms. She sniffed and looked up at him. He noticed that Akko's sobbing stopped and looked down. "Are you feeling better?" He asked with a soft tone.
She nodded and said, "It's snowing..." Andrew brushed the snow from her hair. She looked at him with ruby eyes and rose blush. His cheeks started to flare up at the sight. He abruptly let go of her and gestured toward the bench, letting the lady sit first.
Akko walked to the bench and sat down. She still looked sad. Andrew sat next to her. He sighed and said, "I know it's hard to let go of something you hold dear. However, often times you won't be able to get it back. You must learn to let go, otherwise you can't move forward." He turned to her, "You're letting it out; that's a good start. Miss Ka- Akko."
