"This ain't a scene! Its a God damn arms race!" (imagine the rest of the song. I'd make it longer, but I'm listening to another song and the lyrics almost got mixed up.) I listened to Patrick sing as he walked around the hotel room looking for stuff. I sat up and looked at him. "Whatcha looking for Trick?" I asked, rolling over in my side so I could face him better.
He shook his head. "Nothing. Just antsy." he said.
"Want me to fix that?"
He chuckled and shook his head. "Imma go on a walk. Wanna come?" He asked.
"Nah..." I flopped back on my back and stared at the ceiling.
He laughed. "Alright, Panda. I love you." He kissed my forehead before leaving the room.
"I love you too," I mumbled to an empty room.
I looked over at what's supposed to be Patrick's bed, but he's been sleeping in my bed with me or vise versa. "Don't pretend you'd ever forget bout me!" I sang loudly. I continued to sing that song until I heard the door click open. "Trick?" I asked.
"...Yeah?" The reply came a couple seconds later and it took a while before he walked out to where I could see him.
"You okay?" I asked, noticing a few tears on his face.
His eyes widened. "Why wouldn't I be?" he asked quickly, looking down.
"You look like you were crying."
He nodded as he sat in his bed and wiped a new tear off his cheek.
I jumped up and sat next to him, pulling him into my chest and rocking him for a bit.
He started sobbing. "My parents... Pete... they... murdered!" he sobbed, hugging me tightly.
I pulled away to look at him. "Are you serious!?" I asked.
He nodded and rolled over so he was lying on his stomach, sobbing into the blankets.
"I'm so sorry, Boo." I whispered, rubbing his back. I laid down next to him so my face was by his.
He peaked his head up and looked at me with a small smile. "Boo?" he chuckled through his tears, and wiped them away. He rolled over on his side to look at me.
I gave him a small smile in return and stroked the hair that stuck to his face away. "Yeah, 'cause you're my boo... and I love you." I leaned closer and kissed him.
A tear escaped his eyes. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Pete. Thanks for making me smile when I'm upset." he said, snuggling closer to me.
"You'd be bored outta your mind with mindless video games that make no sense." I said.
He chuckled. "But you got me those mindless video games,"
"Oh yeah!" I said.
He laughed. "I love you."
"Wait... you'd be bored outta your mind cuz you have no one there to mess with?" I tried again.
"I don't mess with people. Besides, that'd be you." he said simply.
I sighed. "Fine. I give up."
"I've got one." he said, resting his head on my chest and drawing circles with his finger.
"Lemme hear it." I said, staring at the ceiling.
"I'd be lonely, bored, fucked up, and a mess." he said.
"Okay, there's my answer."
He chuckled. "I like your answer... 'cause it's true." The circles he was drawing turned to squares before rectangles then triangles.
"Why are you drawing shapes on me?" I asked.
"'Cause I can!" he said.

I looked over at Patrick who had a stone cold look on his face as he listened to the people talk.
"And now, Patrick? Would you like to say a few words?" the last person, I think his name was Freddy or something.
"Yeah... Actaually." He stood up and I took his hand.
"You don't have too." I said.
He didn't look at me, He just walked up to the podium. "I'm disgusted in you guys." He started.
I looked at Joe and Andy who were sitting on my other side. Their expressions were pure shock.
"I'm disgusted because half of you barley knew my parents! Half of you didn't care! You just took advantage of my parents for their money! The only people who didn't and wouldn't do something like that are my best friends Joe and Andy, and boyfriend, Pete."
Everyone gasped. Apparently they didn't know He was gay.
"Shut up, you guys. Yeah I'm gay, but that doesn't matter right now! That's all you care about when it comes to my parents' death! Are you serious? You people disgust me!" He was yelling now. He stormed off the stage.
I stood up and Joe and Andy followed. I tried to stop him, but he just kept walking.
I stopped when he stopped outside the front of the church and watched him collapse into sobs.
"I'm sorry," he cried.
"Sh, babe. Its okay. I'm so proud of you!" I whispered pulling him closer and kissing him.
