Pete walked up to me and brushed my hair out of my face. "I'm taking Razzel to the store. Need anything?"

I shook my head.

He kissed me quickly before calling up the stairs. "C'mon, Razzel. I'm ready!"

"Coming!" Razzel ran down the stairs, Allison in her arms (as always.)

-In.The.Car(Pete.POV)-

"Did you make that hair appointment yet?" Razzel asked.

I glanced at her from the rearview mirror. "The one where I was gonna dye my hair?"

She nodded and stared back at me.

I shook my head. "Didn't remember."

"Make one... today!" she said.

I chuckled. "Alright."

-At.The.Store.-

"Daddy! Daddy! Look! Its Amilee!" Razzel jumped up and down in the cart.

"Honey, calm down. I don't want you to get hurt. Whose Amilee?" I asked.

"My friend from school! Look! Its her Daddies!"
Daddies? I looked around. Then I saw a little girl with two men.

"AMILEE!" Razzel yelled.

"Razzel... N-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Razzel hopped out of the cart and ran over to her friend.

The men looked startled then looked up at me. "Hi?" One of them said.

They both had black hair, Brown eyes, but one had eyeliner.

"Daddy, Look! He wears makeup like you!" Razzel giggled.

"I'm Pete." I held out my hand.

"I'm Dallon." The one with the eyeliner took my hand. (Did Dallon ever wear eyeliner???? if not then use your Imagination and PRETEND!)

"Brendon." The other one said.

"So this is Amilee? I wish I could say I've heard a lot about her." I chuckled.

"Same with... uh?"

"Razzel," I laughed.

"Oh, is she biological?" Dallon sounded almost nervous.

I shook my head. "No... My husband and I adopted her last year."

"So your gay too?" Brendon asked.

I nodded.

"Amilee's my biological daughter. Her mother died when she was three... Brendon adopted her." Dallon said.

I smiled. "I'm so sorry, but that's great that Brendon was able to adopt her. Where are you guys from?"

"Nevada." Brendon said

"Patrick and I are from Chicago." I replied.

"Oh, so you're a local!" they both smiled at me.

I nodded.

"We needed to get Amilee somewhere different. She was being picked on at school."

"Kids are mean, Razzel was going through the same thing. I'm glad to know that she has someone like her."

"It was nice meeting you, and hopefully we can meet Patrick too, but we really need to be on our way."

I nodded. "It was nice meeting you too."

-Still.In.The.Store-

"Razzel, stop skipping through the aisle please." I said, looking at the soups.

"Daddy, wait... watch this!" she said.

I turned to see her twirling towards me, her foot caught the wheel and she started to fall, but I caught her.

"I told you to stop." I said.

She nodded and stood up straighter.

We continued to walk and I was checking the list. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Razzel stop and look down, shuffling behind me.

I looked up and saw the guy from the fair.

He smiled at me. "Hello... Hi, Razzel!"

"Leave her alone. Stop following us!" I said.

His smile turned evil. "I'm not following you..." he paused before continuing. "I'm following her." he pointed to Razzel.

I pusher her farther behind me. "Leave her alone. She did nothing to you."

He laughed. "Goodbye for now." he started to walk away, but I blocked his path with the cart.

"If you come anywhere near my family I will have you arrested." I hissed.

He laughed again. "You have no proof I'm doing this..." he gave me a smug smile before walking away.

-At.Home.-

"Hey, Ba-... What happened?" Patrick saw my face.

"That creep was at the store today..." I grumbled as I closed the door.

Razzel remained quiet and stared at the floor.

Patrick looked at her and then got level with her. "Razzel, You know not to go with strangers, right?"

She nodded.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Patrick pulled her into a hug as she started to cry.

"I'm scared, daddy! He said he was following me!"

Patrick's eyes widened and landed on me. "Pete..."

I nodded.

"Oh my gosh..." He pulled away from Razzel so he was looking at her. "I don't want you to leave the house, and if you do then you are to stay by our sides."

Razzel nodded and hugged Patrick again.

"What about school?" I asked.

"Stay with a teacher." He said.
