"Hey, Patty... I wanna go out for breakfast with my grandson. What do you say?" Tricks grandmother asked him.
He nodded and looked at me. "What do you think, Pete?"
I shook my head. "No, I'm not really feeling well. Thanks, though." I gave the a small smile.
His grandma winked at me as Patrick had his backed turned to her.
"Oh, baby. Are you Okay? Do you want me to stay here?"
I shook my head quickly. "No, I'll be okay. I promise." I said.
He stepped closer and pulled me into a long passionate kiss.
"I wouldn't kiss me if I were you, You don't know if I'm contagious or not." I said after we pulled away.
He gave me a pouty face and then smiled. "Its worth it." He kissed me again to prove his point before his grandma cleared her throat. "If you two are done, I think we should get going, Patrick."
Patrick nodded and looked at me. "You still owe me an explanation of what you were doing last night. I was lonely without you."
"When you get back." I promised.
He smiled before following his grandma.

Holy shoot! How am I gonna pull this off!? I looked around the house.
Let's start with... Dinner? YEAH! Dinner! I can't cook so I called a catering business and asked them to bring their nicest dinner meal.
Flowers, up next... or is that too cheesy? I groaned as I searched through the millions of flowers in the catalog. Finally landing on some tulips. I remember him saying they were his favorite. He always compared them to life. In the winter, the tulip would slowly hide away, like a person, but then slowly retreat back out for summer and spring.
"Hold on, grandma! I just forgot my wallet!" I heard the door open followed by Patrick's voice.
I froze as he saw the millions of pamphlets scattering the table. He gave me a curious look as he walked to where I was sitting and picked one of the papers up.
I instantly regretted leaving that paper on the table. It was the surprise.
His eyebrows furrowed as he gazed at the information and the picture. "Pete...?" He asked, slowly looking up.
I looked down. "Surprise." I whispered.
His eyes widened.
"Last night, I... uh... was looking for the right one for you... I saw that one and I knew it had to be yours." I said. "I was about to leave when you walked through the door. You weren't supposed to be back... so this isn't exactly the way I had it planned."
-Patrick.POV-
"Pete... What...?" I asked as he stood up from his seat and got down on one knee.
Fucking great! I ruined the surprise! I mentally sighed as Pete cleared his throat.
"Patrick Martin Stump, out of all the cheesiest fanfictions about us out there, none could equal how much I love you. They may be true about us being together, but they don't capture the amount of love I have for you. I don't think any story can." he paused and chuckled. "Because, my love for you is infinite. My love for you will go on past the milky way and continue to go through the universe, but that's not even enough to cover that! I would make up a word Just to match the amount of love I have for you. And so far, I'm stuck on a word that's already created unfortunately... marriage." He took my hands in his and kissed the back of them. "I can't think of anyone else to spend the rest of my life with because frankly, no one really is You. You make my life complete with every word you say, but I want to hear the words "I do." come out of your mouth on our wedding night. So, Patrick Stump... will you marry me?"
I'm not gonna lie. I was shocked. And flattered, but mostly shocked. All I could do was drop to my knees in front of him and pull him into a kiss.
"I'll take that as..."
"A yes, Pete." I interrupted, placing my forehead against his.
He smiled and pecked my lips a couple times. "I love you, Trick."
I smiled. "I love too."
