The wake went well but now it's time for a funeral. After the funeral we are having a reception at the house. It's sort of like a party because my dad wouldn't want us to grieve over him.

I wasn't doing so well over that considering I was practically dead myself for two weeks straight.

The boys have been helping me a lot but the one person I really needed was Emma. She was the next closest person besides my family. I love her, my dad loved her, my whole family loves her. She was the one who helped me to see the glass half full instead of half empty.

She made me take out pictures of my dad and I when I was younger and reflect on the memories we had together.

I really owe her one. Something that doesn't involve my fame or anything that could attract attention to me.

What's a better way to get to her heart than giving her UCL Final tickets? Real Madrid and Real Atlético are playing each other! She'll get to see one of our favorite players Reynaldo! I got her four tickets. She invited me but I have the tour to finish up.

I started tour again tomorrow and that meant leaving my family. Again.

PJ is staying in Connecticut for a while to make sure my mom doesn't break down randomly on my little sister. Sarah is 17 but she's not a legal adult yet. She can take care of our mom but we don't want to put that much pressure on her especially when she's starting her senior year of high school in the fall.

We are half way through with our reception/party whatever you want to call it.

Demi had to go do some gigs and Selena had to go because she had a casting in LA that day.

Ariana stayed with me and tomorrow she's flying down to Florida to finish up her album.

The boys go back to London tomorrow as well and I'm going to Pennsylvania to finish up my tour.

I have about a month and a week left of shows and then I'm done with the american tour. I have a month free and then I start on my second album.

I bounce out of my train of thought when Niall grabs my arm and drags me into the house where no one else is.

"Whats up?"

"I wanted to ask you something. It's really been bothering me ever since your birthday and I need to know your answer before you go away on tour again and the boys and I go back to London."

"Ok, ask."

"Well, Christi-"

"What are you guys doing in here? Come on Christi, you have to be outside. People are leaving and they want to say goodbye to you." Sarah interrupts us.

"Ask me later?"

"Sure."

I kiss him on the lips before I turn away and go say goodbye to everyone who was leaving.

"Today was a long day." PJ said as he flopped down on the couch.

"I'll be right back." I excuse myself to go find Niall. "Hey, what did you want to ask me?"

We walk towards a hammock in my yard and both sit down on it.

"I just wanted to ask how are you holding up?"

Niall's P.O.V.

I just wanted to ask if you would marry me.

My inner thoughts taunted me.

Yes, Christi's birthday present was going to be that I would propose to her, but that sort of got set back.

What do you expect me to do? Ask her at her dad's funeral?
