Chapter 14 Bacon

"I can't give you an answer at this moment right now. But I will tell you in the future. I promise. Just I need to figure something out right now." Niall answered my question.

"Why can't you tell me know?"

"Because I'm not sure of something. I need to be sure before I tell you. But trust me. I will tell you." he said very seriously.

"OK. Whatever. So what are you gonna get?" I said changing the subject.

"I think I'm gonna get the sea food alfredo. What about you?"

"I think I'm gonna get the Fettuccine Alfredo because it's got bacon on it. And I love bacon! By the way that's one thing you should know if we're gonna be seeing each other." He looked taken back as I said this. "You know since you guys are living right down the street from us. And you obviously love Justin so I'm guessing you'll be coming by more often to see him." I joked at his bromance with Justin Bieber.

"Justin Bieber is my idol! How do you know him anyway?"

"Well he posted a video on youtube and some big record deal person saw him an-"

"No! I mean how do you know him personally? Like why was he over you house?"

"Oh yea he's my boyfriend." I said in a really high pitched, snotty voice. "I'm just kidding. He's my cousin. But he is now dating Emma. So if you had an eye on her, TO BAD! She is now out of the single window!"

"What about you? Are you single?'

"Yea. But why would you want to know that?"

"Nothing." he answered. A little too fast.

We gave or orders to our waitress, who didn't recognize Niall, and made small talk until our food came.

"Finally! I'm starving!" I said. Niall just smiled at me and went back to eating his food. "What? Do I have something on my face?"

"No. It's just that you're really different from other girls that I've met."

"Well that's probably because you have only met people who dream of marrying you or one of the boys. And trust me. I don't dream of that happening."

"Well that's a little harsh! I mean what if you really got to know us? Would you at least think of dating one of us?"

"That's the thing. If I want someone in my love life, they would have to always be there. I don't want to give people my heart just so they can break it. I really only want one person in my life." I said putting down my fork and actually looking into his eyes.

"But what if that one person was me? Or Harry? Or anyone of the boys?"

"Well than yes. I would like to at least be friends with that person before I start 'dating' them." I said using quotations around the word dating.

Wow. I've never had a deep conversation with a boy like I just had. It's like he wanted to get something out of me. Like for me to admit that I would go out with one of the boys.

"So how was your dinner?"

"It was really good. Thank you for asking. How was your's?"

"It was wonderful." Right now we were just walking around the park. "Thank you." I said stopping and looking up at him.

"For what?"

"For asking me. For taking me. For putting up with m-"

"Hey! Who said I had to put up with you? I asked you out for a reason."
