I suppose this is a given at this point, but IF YOU DON'T LIKE SWEARING, DON'T READ THIS STORY. I write how I talk and I'm not afraid to yell random cuss words.
Also, don't be afraid to comment! I love reading people's reactions or just sarcastic little responses. It makes me so happy to read them and I'll, sometimes, even respond!
Anyway, let's get into this.
Your POV
Going back to school was a drag. I was mentally exhausted and I felt horrible. I knew I was borderline sick, but I couldn't miss the classes. I needed the credits. Even though it was math. Even though I had no idea how understanding calculus would help a normal human being like me in the future, but I still wanted to take it. To comprehend it in case I decided I wanted to go into a job that required such high level math.
"With this equation, you'll be able to..." The professor's voice was so dull that my head hit the table before I sat up. He didn't even notice. He continued writing problems on the board that no one would do.
It didn't help that Jungkook wasn't here. He refused to take any math classes. I told him he might need it, but who am I kidding? He's an idol who's contract has expired. He'll get a new one soon enough and then he'll be off to sing and dance again. He doesn't need math for that, at least not this type.
I wrote down the equations since I was way too lazy to figure out how to type them. Everyone else was messing around in their own way, not paying attention. Then they wondered how I always passed the tests with flying colors while they failed. Go figure, idiots.
The teacher pulled up a slide with little words on it. "Here's the homework for today, enjoy the rest of your day."
I quickly wrote it down and packed up. We had 10 minutes or so left, but the professor never stopped us from leaving if the homework was already given. I shrugged my bag on and walked out after saying bye to the teacher. I wasn't swarmed by hating girls as usual. I was back to being invisible. I took a deep, long breath as I walked outside. The air was perfect temperature for pants and a sweatshirt. Nobody to bother me so I could just listen to music and rest my vocal cords. I was content as I sat underneath a tree. I had 3 hours before my next class, why not finish my homework outside?
I saw as girls passed me and heard their voices faintly say things. I couldn't hear exactly what it was because (awesome song) was playing loudly. I didn't even look up to see if they were looking at me. If I finish the homework now, I'll have no math homework for over the rest of the week. That would be awesome. Plus, Jungkook won't be arriving at school until about half an hour before the next class. I know I could be doing other things, riding to see what Jimin's doing at his high school, but I didn't. I didn't know his schedule.
"HEY!"
I look up when the voice makes its way through the loud music playing. I hadn't even seen his feet standing so close to me, my thoughts were so focused on finishing the math homework.
I slide the headphones into my neck, but I can still hear the music. "What do you need?"
The smell of cigarettes was so strong that my sinuses hurt.
Suga blew out a puff and kneeled in front of me. "My stupid ass parents finally chose to do something about my shitty grades and demanded that I do something about them."
I raise an eyebrow and close my math book with the notes in it. "This is my concern, why?"
"They won't send me any money until the grades are raised." He sits next to me and leans on the tree. His shoulder is against mine, but I don't move. I only stare at him.
