Another update comin' your way! Hope you enjoy!

Your POV

When the phone went off, ruining my binge watching, I was a little displeased. The most hectic week I'd had in years was finally over. I had wanted to relax, take it easy, binge watch (fav show), fill up on snacks I hadn't been able to touch, and maybe bother Jungkook for no reason.

But no. Namjoon just had to call me. I answered the phone with a violent tap and finally got out of bed.

"You're still in bed right now? It's noon!"

"I was in bed, but I'm up now. What do you want?"

"I was calling to see if you wanted to grab some coffee and work on the project."

"Uh, no? We've still got 2 weeks. There ain't no way in hell I'm working on it this early."

"Fine, then. How about lunch and an attraction of your choosing?"

"Be at my apartment in 10 minutes."

I heard a laugh before I hung up. I ran to my closet and threw together an ensemble. I was ready to run around like a giddy little child, which meant tennis shoes, pants that won't fall down, and a tank top.

Free food and an activity of my choosing. Who would give that up?

I gave Jungkook's head a quick kiss before I ran out of the apartment. I didn't give him time to question, just said I'd be back before midnight. I still didn't have a solid plan, so midnight seemed like a pretty good time. I quickly got into Namjoon's car and told him to book it. His tires squealed as he raced out of the complex, the gates already open.

My window was down and I had my arm hanging out of it. He slowed down the the speed limit but the wind was still flowing strongly.

"So, what do you want for lunch?"

I broke my eyes from the horizon to look at him. "I dunno. I eat pretty much anything."

"How about a diner so we can get what we want?"

"Works for me!"

Namjoon POV

When I asked her about the diner, I was honestly expecting to be shot down. I did want burgers, but most girls don't. They complain about having to stay skinny or something. It didn't matter to me, I just wish most of them knew that. I'd had plenty of good sex with girls of a heavier weight.

I shook off the thought as I parked the car. I got out of the car at the same time she did. She walked up to the door, not waiting for me to lock the car. Add that to another thing I wasn't used to, she didn't make me get her door. She rushed into the restaurant, holding the door open for me. The mouthwatering smell of the diner flowed out while she held the door open and I could tell she smelled it too.

"Hurry up or I'm going in without you!"

I ran up to the door and went in, getting the second door for her.

"Thanks," she said as she passed.

She's so different than other girls. There was no perfume smell as she passed, no enunciated sway in her hips as she passed. She was just a girl anxious to get food. She let me do the talking to get the table, acting almost like a kid when it came to talking to people. It brought a slight smile to my face as her face lit up while looking over the menu. She was giddy, her fingers tapping at the menu.

Then the waiter came over with some waters. "What can I get you to drink? Besides water?"

(Y/N) looked towards the waiter to order. "I'll have a (drink), please."
