Your POV
I stood in home economics, adjusting the settings of the stove. Some idiot had left them on from last class, so I turned them off. I sneezed in the cold kitchen, missing my sweatshirts in the wash. I was wearing a plain band t-shirt and pants, not enough material to keep me warm. Since the stoves weren't on, the freezing air was just that. Freezing.
"(Y/N), here's the recipe for today. You will need a partner, and since you're here first, you can choose."
I looked at my professor before taking the student roster from his hands. I looked down the list and didn't see any names that I knew. I looked for one person, hoping for just one. No such luck.
"That's okay, sir. I don't need a partner."
He pushes the roster back to me. "Today is a partner cook day, you have to pick one. Seriously, you can't go without a partner every single time I ask. Choose one, or I'll choose one for you."
I looked back over the roster, then a name stood out to me. I didn't recognize it, so I figured it was a transfer student who might not hate me. It did have a familiar ring, but I couldn't put my finger on where I'd heard it.
"Min Yoongi. I'll be partners with... her?"
The professor shrugs and then takes the roster from me as other students begin to walk in. I sit at the stove as he causes students to build up at the door, forcing immediate choosing of partners. I see Suga walk in, right past the teacher. The professor doesn't stop him, only tells him as he keeps walking. That reminds me, I didn't see his name on the roster. Then he sits next to me, throwing his stuff next to the oven.
"You picked me as your partner?" he asks, staring at me.
I simply stare at him, confused until it hits me. "I didn't know your real name was--"
"Yeah, it's girly, I know. I just don't go by it and administration refused to change it when I asked if they would."
"Well, how did you ask for it? Throwing stuff around and yelling a lot?"
"You know what? Shut up."
I snicker a little at the fact I hit the nail on the head. "Please tell me I didn't make a mistake in accidentally picking you."
"I live with only Taehyung. He doesn't know how to cook. You bet your ass I know how to cook."
I lift my hands in surrender. "Fine. You know how to make this?"
He looks at the recipe then raises an eyebrow at me. "Seriously? It's just ramen."
"From scratch! I've never done that before."
He shakes his head. "I've done this. It's been awhile, but if we follow the recipe, we'll be fine."
He grabbed some seasonings while looking at the recipe, barely paying any attention to where he was going. Everyone moved out of his way for various reasons, but I stayed by the stove. I knew that I would get tripped or hit at least five times. He returned with everything we needed, setting the basket he took onto the counter.
"Watch and learn," Suga said, grabbing a salt shaker. "It'll be a breeze."

"Five more minutes!"
Suga was adding the ramen to a bowl while I got the garnishes finished. He was mostly right. It had gone easily, except for the fact that someone knocked over our first batch of noodles and we had to make more, then our broth was also spilled. Making it was pretty easy.
"There's your dinner for the day, I hope you made it good. There's no grade on today, it was just supposed to be fun. Enjoy." Then the professor left the room. I followed his back out with wide eyes, my mouth also slightly open.
